In summary

Hawk's Landing Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained course and unique 12-hole layout, which offers a fun and challenging experience with scenic views. The staff is frequently praised for their friendliness and accommodating nature, and the on-site restaurant receives high marks for its food and service. However, some visitors mention that the greens can be uneven, and the course's 12-hole structure may not justify the green fees for all golfers.

We love that this place is open in October when all the golf courses around us are closed. The greens were a little bit bumpy but they were green and the fairways were pretty green. There was a lot of people out there but we still got through in a decent time. You pay 12 holes and then six of the holes over again so you get your 18 holes in. We had a great time. The weather was cooler than down in the the lower desert and check and see how the weather will be. If there's high wind warnings you probably won't have as much fun.

We were at this place just to have lunch. Saw on the Google with good reviews also a great outdoor dining view. Ordered and pay first at the register then sit wherever you want to sit they brought food to your table. The experience to eat at this place was good, but I wasn’t expecting I felt we had lunch at the cafeteria vibe. Everything they served our food on the paper plates and cups.. only the utensils was not disposable. I ordered soup of the day (split pea w/ham) and chef salad (for me was a huge portions) My husband ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and he said was really good burger.

Been going to Hawks Landing for sometime & after hitting the last green, then once we parked our Carts…stopped by the Pro Shop otw out to say goodbye. Thats when Ian said, “Were you in No 10 Golf Cart?” bc we have a Nikon Range Finder, left behind! Thanks again to Ian, for ruining things, as usual :)

Was really excited to play this course as it had good reviews and was only half the distance to the courses in Palm Springs (from Joshua Tree), but in hindsight I think the extra 60 min might’ve been worth it. Pro shop staff was great and this course has potential, but maintenance and it only being 12 holes it fell short for the value paid. Especially not being able to play just 12. You pay for 18 and there’s no other option. I understand they were aerating the greens recently but one green was in absolute disarray. Rental clubs were only $10 which was nice but they were in rough shape. Could…

First time playing here in the desert, great small easy course you play the 12 holes then you go back and pay the six to make it 18 holes it’s a short course

This course is my go to course to get outta the Palm Springs golf hustle & bustle. My experience is that the course conditions play faster in the winter & slower in summer. I've been playing here since I started playing again. I never played here when I was younger. From then to now I believe this course was closed for a period of time. You gotta use every club in the bag here. Not much danger out there but certainly enough to make a fun round. Elevation changes, wasteland areas, just enough water, plenty of trees. Would give 5 stars because the facilities are nice. The people & staff are frie…

The staff are amazing. The vibe here is outstanding. Super welcoming. Pretty clear they get what makes golf special - time with your family while hitting a little ball around. Our family came with two small kids and they were accommodating (just keep pace). Restaurant is so good. Definitely coming back next time we visit.

Took some newbies out, we smashed the ball, and missed the ball. Is was 5yrs since any of us went out, had a great time, we used a couple of carts and a couple of Golf Boards. We were going slow and the Marshall asked if some others could go by, we said sure then we found out he was also the onsite golf pro, he gave us a few tips, our game changed. Caught a pic of this little fella riding the brush, not really sure but I think I lost a ball underneath Mr. Squirrel some where....
