Heroes Golf Course is highly praised for its well-maintained, compact layout that is ideal for practicing short game skills, with a peaceful setting and friendly, accommodating staff. The course is particularly appreciated for offering free play to veterans, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Some visitors mention occasional issues such as closures without notice and the absence of a driving range, but overall, the course is valued for its accessibility and the meaningful support it provides to veterans.

This golf course is absolutely lovely. Well taken care of, maintained and kept clean. Pretty sure I didn't see a single candy wrapper, cigarette butt or anything that doesn't belong there. The club house has fresh coffee and the staff there are very nice. Highly recommend this one 👍⛳

Awesome. Club house is very clean and updated. The staff is friendly. Fairly priced. Holes not too difficult for a relaxing round. First time ever playing so not familiar where each hole was but we managed. Will certainly be back.

The brand new pickleball courts are great! The fences between courts are the right height to see over, but not loose balls over. It is a quiet location despite being seemingly close to the highway. This will be a popular spot soon! If it is your first time the pro-shop entrance for check in is tucked around on the west side the buildings nearby. Walk towards the golfing and then go around the first building left and left again to find the door

Executive course with short narrow fairways. Good for short game practice. no reservations, first come first serve. Kinda hidden in the back of this big veteran's land. No driving range but you can practice putting. The greens are beautiful for a public course! You can actually see the fairway and rough difference. That means they have a lawn mower that works and maintenance that are good at their job. There are trees that can get in between the tee and the flag. No bunkers but short bushes/ hedges and a ravine that will make your ball disappear should you hit towards it. Good workout to walk…

Looks like a nice course, but closed during prime time with no warning. No messages on phone or website about closure. GolfNow let me book, poor communication and coordintion.

I recently had the pleasure of playing at Heroes Golf Course in West LA, and it’s a hidden treasure. The course is compact and well-designed, offering a fun challenge without the time commitment of a full 18-hole round. The best part? It’s free for veterans, a meaningful perk that truly honors those who’ve served. The layout is perfect for practicing your short game, with well-maintained greens and just enough elevation changes to keep things interesting. The staff is friendly, professional, and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or j…

The Heroes Golf Course is place ideal for Golfers, the veterans who are golfers, a place to learn the game of golf, and my favorite, to continue to host "Paint & Snack", a veteran art project devoted to bring forth tranquility through art. Thank you, "Heroes Golf Course for opening your doors to our veteran art project.. Phyllis Thomas/Artist/Veteran/Founder of The Veterans Art venue

Probably the best kept par 3 I’ve been to in a while. First time playing on an Easter Sunday and was able to get right on to play. Just enough of a challenge to keep me entertained, and since I was a single I was able to get some much needed short game practice in. Works out GREAT since I drive my partner to work sometimes nearby. Looking forward to more future visits.
