In summary

Highland Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained layout, beautiful scenery, and friendly staff, with amenities such as a pro shop, driving range, and a grill that receives high marks for its food and service. Many golfers enjoy the challenging course and the overall atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. However, some players have noted issues with course maintenance, slow pace of play, and occasional staff unresponsiveness, which can detract from the overall experience.

Played this municipal course as the 1st of a 4 day PNW golf trip. VERY satisfied with our selection. Price was under $70. They had a well stocked pro shop and bar. The course conditions were REALLY good. Fairways fluffy, sand soft, and the greens rolled about a 9.

The conditions at this course were incredibly disappointing and far below the standard expected for the price of a round. The fairways were patchy and poorly irrigated, while the greens were in such rough shape that it was nearly impossible to get a consistent roll on any putt. To make matters worse, the pace of play was painfully slow with no course marshal in sight to manage the congestion or keep groups moving, leading to a frustratingly long day on the links. The staff at the clubhouse were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to the complaints about the state of the facility, offering no expl…

Very friendly staff and a nice wide open range. As well as a big practice area for putting and chipping. I thought it was really cool they do a punch card rewards system for range balls. I'll be back for sure.

I am a local and golf here quite often and have never had any bad experiences until today. I brought my three year old son for the first time to go golfing with the guys. He was in his car seat the entire time he had snacks and water and even brought his helmet to be safe. When we walked into the club house to pay the staff was extremely kind and nice to my son we paid and started our round. About three holes in we had some random lady approach us extremely aggressively telling us no kids are allowed on the course under six years of age. I asked her where the rule for that was posted and if it…

This course is fried, they were watering in the middle of the day , with multiple sprinklers on multiple holes, you have to stand and get drenched or retrieve your ball from the pond of water left by the sprinkler and drop somewhere else. Staff was rude and was trying to over charge our party of 4, took 4 attempts to get our price correct, when we were on the 1st tee he came out and asked if we paid. I do not recommend golfing here especially when there's so many better options around this area. Do better highlands.

Fun course with some challenging holes. A few of the tight fairways will make or break your score. If you walk the course, be ready for some elevation changes. Good food, beer on tap, and a nice patio overlooking the practice area awaits when you finish your round. The staff have always been good to me, and I'm always happy when my group picks this course for the week.

I have played Mens League here for the last 5 years on Wednesdays and it is such a great time. Good staff, and the other guys in the league are great. Affordable course with a Driving range, Putting green, and chipping Green. Overall fun course.

An excellent and varied course made for a challenging evening. Roads and paths are a little confusing at times but not too hard to figure out. Spacious practice range and easy access to facilities. Have yet to try the food but the snacks, coffee and hot chocolate were great.

Nice course! Beautiful scenery! Holes range from par 3 to par 5. Sprinklers came on during a shot on one of the holes, but it was a hot day, so we didn't mind the cool down. Overall, good place!

Beautiful golf course located in Post Falls. 18 holes surrounded by beautiful trees, ponds, and homes. Men and women's league. 1st Tee also located here in the summer.

Nice course, but some sections are extremely steep to walk (we walked 18 holes). This is a course where you should definitely rent a cart.

We have really enjoyed this course. It is well kept and challenging, the staff is friendly. One thing that would make it better all around is if they offered Twilight rates. We got behind a group of six people only 4 were golfing, but they were having a good time and held a lot of people up even behind us... There was no Marshall, and we could not finish before the carts were due in at 8:30. If we would have gotten a discount for Twilight rates it wouldn't have hurt so bad.
