In summary

Hinton Golf Club is praised for its scenic setting, well-maintained course, and friendly staff, making it an enjoyable experience for both casual and experienced golfers. The course offers a variety of challenges with its hilly terrain and modern amenities, including touchscreen GPS carts. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional staff attitude concerns.

Nice little golf course that's easy to access and has all the amenities. Not the best maintained and not as many viewpoints as the best when compared to Kananaskis.

I really enjoyed playing here. We were out to Jasper to play there and figured we would try it on the trip back. We'll worth it. They have a great special starting in September as well. Course is very fun to play and some good views. Nice proshop with lots of good branded items. Only issue I had was the bunkers were basically all rocks or under repair. But just don't hit it in them and it won't affect you.

We golfed here (with a toddler) at the end of September and enjoyed every minute of it. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking in the fall, the course was very well maintained and the staff were very friendly. Overall, amazing value for the price and we'll definitely be back. The only thing I would recommend is add more craft beer to the beer cart especially because Folding Mountain Brewing is only minutes away.

Had the pleasure of golfing at the Hinton Golf Club this summer for a company golf tournament. Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the course itself and the facilities on site. It’s a nice course to golf, from beginner-pro! Which makes Hinton Golf Club a great place to host events! All 18 holes are private but still spacious not crowded or condensed. There is room to challenge yourself but also the forgiveness in the course that inexperienced golfers can still enjoy their round. Tee boxes, fairways and the greens were all in excellent condition. I will definitely book again and this t…

Course was okay. Staff fine. People on the course and members on the other hand...

Great golf course for the price. Views were very nice and the staff was helpful, especially the ones patrolling the course. Part of a group of 4, and we did 18 holes, and it went very fast. Golf carts were nice, quiet, and the touchscreen made it easy to navigate the complex course.

Visiting family in Hinton, from Manitoba. Played here on the 11th August 2023, course was in great shape including tee boxes and greens. I was placed with a group of two that made you feel very welcome. Staff were friendly, and willing to help wherever possible, and the carts are modern with touch screen GPS. The course terrain provides additional challenges other than water, but still enjoyable for a very high handicap as myself. Highly recommended this course.

Stopped for a quick lunch on our way through town as we try to support small businesses as we travel instead of chains. Good service, decent food and nice views. The road up to the club house is a little rough (didn't bother us as we are used to poor roads and have a big truck).

Coarse is alright, getting expensive so what it is. Most people golfing here have concept of golf common courtesy. If your a quicker golfer you probably won't enjoy it. Be prepared to add at least 20 minutes per 9 holes

Lovely course at a reasonable price. They had just cored the greens before we played and the conditions were still good. The course was in great condition.
