Honeywell Golf Course

Had a really enjoyable round with my dad here. I think it was $23 apiece to ride (Monday special) which was an awesome deal. $35(weekday) would have been acceptable to me for this course. I liked holes 11-17 best. Fun fact: the course is named after Mark Honeywell of thermostat fame, and there's an interesting building by the clubhouse that was his movie studio or something.

Was 1st visit and not a good one. Course was very unkept, fairways not well mowed and long, greens were absolutely horrible. We didn’t even putt, no use when greens were 1/2 sand filled and missing grass. Said a word or two to the guy behind the counter and he blamed the irrigation. Said they “we’re working on it and writing checks” and that’s about it. My advice…call first and ask questions. Maybe just drive on up to Warsaw and play Stonehenge.

I've never played a nicer course. Incredibly well manicured course where the fairways are as nice or nicer than most courses greens. Honestly felt really guilty every time I took a divot (which I replaced). Even the divots came out as a nice big piece that was easily replaceable. Kudos to the head groundskeeper. As far as the layout it's pretty wide open, relatively flat, and easy for almost anyone to go and play an enjoyable round.

Played in a golf outing there as my first experience. Staff was courteous and helpful. Course was in great shape on the greens and the fairway. The course has some holes that are Indiana flat with some trees and other areas with a little of elevation and creek in play. Overall a nice public course that is worth a visit.

Played in late May. Course would be tough if it was in great shape...sadly many of the greens were beat up bad. As I understand it they had some irrigation issues in the past. Other reviews stated the tee boxes and fairways were not maintained, I do not agree with that. They were great for the most part. I'll be back later in the year for sure. **Update** Went back today, 5/30/25. Course was in fantastic shape. I changed it from a 3 star to a 5 star. Awesome time. Tee boxes, fairways, rough, greens...all great. I tip my cap to them for getting it back in great condition.

Very good course. Well kept fairways and greens and the staff was super friendly. This is the best golf track for the money I've ever experienced.

Front 9 was closed for bunker rebuild, but always a great place to challenge your skill set...will mos def be back.

Read online how course was in poor shape due to lack of irrigation. Played today with 3 former Wabash grads and I'd say course is 90% back. Greens fast except a couple spots still recovering from above irrigation problems. Fairways beautiful. Clean clubhouse clean bathrooms and today anyway payed $23 for golf and cart I'd pay twice that to play there.

Great golf course was very well-maintained, but it was a little confusing to navigate in some spots. The clubhouse was nice, with polite staff. I look forward to another round there.

This is a great golf course, with well groomed/maintained greens and fairways. The front 9 is fairly traditional, while the back 9 has more variety/obstacles. Easy access and easy to find, right off the highway. Decent prices, and not as busy as a many other courses in the area. Definitely will be back.

I’m sad to see this place change so much, and not in a good way. Maybe it’s perception, but I’d think a course charging $20 a round, but $600 for a membership in late July wouldn’t treat you like a second class citizen. I’ve got less than 5 full rounds in for my money, and at this point am tired of feeling like I’m “bothering” this organization too much. Maybe perception, but when i pay for membership, i like feeling like I’m at least a valued member. Not getting that here anymore!

Signature course of great Arthur Hills who designed more than 200 new golf courses, including PGA and LPGA, private upscale resorts and public golf courses around the world Hills designed golf courses in Portugal (2001), Croatia (2012), and Sweden. Wabash is very lucky to have Arther Hills course in very reasonable rates. This year due to lack of irrigation, course suffered But now with state of art lawn irrigation system by Rain Bird is resorting its beauty back. New bunkers and cart paths are additional pleasures.
