International Links / Melreese Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout with undulating greens, and friendly, professional staff. Well maintained. Pretty open course almost like a resort course but some water hazards. Staff is real nice and professional, and easy parking. There are a lot of really long holes. But nice course too bad it’s going to be a soccer stadium some day.

10/21/2022: The greens improved a lot since I played about 4 weeks ago. The green speed can be faster to make the round even more fun. Before: A very nice course adjacent to MIA. The layouts look simple but with plenty of bunkers, some elevation changes, and narrowness to make you planning shots carefully. The greens are relatively fast with huge undulations on bumpy surfaces. The bumpiness are similar to holes from a recent aerification but management told me that they haven't done the punch since May. I would give a 5-star if the greens are smooth. Plenty of elevations changes and bumpiness…

A challenging local links course. The greens were cut short and played fast making this a tough course. Very noisy with planes landing nearby but don’t let that ruin what is a nice course setup. Staff are friendly and the pro shop is well stocked and well run.

Waste of money and time I played on Saturday afternoon at 12:50 pm but it backed up and 20 minute delay from the beginning. I know this course is very close to MIA airport and it was noisy several times during the round. But it is acceptable. Overall course condition was good, except tee box. There was no tee box leveled with grass. It was horrible. And I have never seen cheap looking tee box marker like in the picture. This is $100 course not $30 course. While we were palying foursome two holes in front of us was really really slow. We literally had to wait every single shot. There was no ma…

Really nice course right in the middle of Miami. Airplanes passing by, great conditions. Give it a try. Now you have to enjoy it before it disappears by the end of this year.

The grill makes incredible pork chunks and Oscar makes the best real deal margaritas made with REAL lime juice.

This is another update (Sept 2018) I just had to add to my review after having another great day out at Melreese. And this time it wasn't because of the course, it's because of the staff -- In particular, Jenny, in the pro shop. Jenny is that kind woman who is always so friendly when you call in for a tee time, the one who always greets you with a smile every time you walk into the pro shop. It's a great place with great people and great golf -- I always highly recommend it to everyone! This is an updated review (Jan 2015) post renovation with newly installed greens and tee boxes. If you'…

Melreese Country Club is quickly becoming one of the best golf courses in South Florida - if it isn't one already. I play this course often (at least once a week) and it is my favorite venue in Miami. The layout is challenging but also forgiving - wide fairways allow for errand tee shots and many of the Par 3s have bailout areas around the greens. The course is in excellent shape at the moment and all signs point to the conditions improving as the newly-renovated fairways and greens continue to grow in. The large and undulating greens are amazing; they're fast but not too fast and they roll ve…
