What People Say

In summary

Jackson National Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice in West Tennessee. The course offers a picturesque and peaceful setting, with recent improvements noted in the cart paths and facilities. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about slow pace of play, additional fees for non-golfing companions, and occasional issues with cart availability.

I had a great time watching my husband golf. He has been golfing most of his life and this is a place he loves. It's so pretty and peaceful. The pathways for the cart are bumpy in areas but, thank goodness my husband is also a great driver. Watch out Rory Mcilroy, John's making history at Jackson National.

Jackson National continues to be one of the best courses in West Tennessee. The greens are in awesome shape. The layout is tough but very manageable. Dave is a highlight on the staff there. Always appreciate how friendly and helpful he is. Great golf course!

Played this course for the first time in 2 years. Definitely a lot of complaints I could make, but choosing to not overly complain or base this rating on needing to wait 30 minutes for a hotdog at prime dinner time (I continued to play on while my wife waited) or having to pay an extra $25 just for my wife and daughter to ride with me… I was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the course. New carts were awesome and some good improvements to cart path. Still need a lot of work, but heading in the right direction! Staff is nice and appreciative of your coming out. If this place could regu…

Great course and condition. Carts are great. Wasn’t a fan of having to pay for 18 holes when only wanting to play 9. They do their rain check voucher but was only credited 30%. Idk why they don’t just credit you for if you play just 9 holes. Seems like a good way for them to rip people off.

I just started golfing about a week ago but I went there to the range and they treated me with respect and the manager Mrs. Talkington really treated well. I am advertising my buisness in their score sheet so it was awesome to go see it in person. The way they treated me is leading me to want to get a mo thlt membership!

I rate Jackson National 5-stars because it is inexpensive, the greens are in excellent condition, and the layout was challenging. The fairways could use some love but most public courses have bald spots. This is expected. Some holes are a bit back-and-forth but it’s okay with the old tall trees. The greens met my expectations. Each one was green, spotless, fast, and the grain really had an effect. It’s what makes tennessee golf so good. Played 18 with a cart on Tuesday afternoon for about $30 bucks. Only a dozen other couples out on the course, so I played my 18 in about 3 .5 hours. The othe…

I have played this course quite a bit the past two years and had a great time until this past Sunday. Scheduled a tee time for 1:12. Arrived at around 12:55 and there were no carts at all and no assurance of when they would be available. We waited an hour and finally got going. Able to play 9 holes and when asked for a rain check for the other, since it wasn’t our fault we didn’t start on time, I got a voucher for $7.96 for myself and $7.96 for my wife. When I asked, I was told that since I got a “deal” for after 1pm, that I would only get 25% of what I paid. I was not very impressed with the…

I’ve been playing this course every so often for 45 years and it has never been better. They have done a fantastic job the last few years making it green and lush. The staff was super friendly, even the other golfers we ran into were delightful. The clubhouse was very nice and had that “golf atmosphere.” We even got a slight discount because the man at the counter gave us a couple minutes grace period on our arrival time. It was a very delightful day. I highly recommend it.

I played this course for the first time this past Saturday. I enjoyed my round. The course is in pretty good condition (it seemed that there was still reconstruction going on the course itself). The greens were well designed (I thought). The staff was very friendly. The whole atmosphere was enjoyable. I will have to make another date to travel from Dyersburg to play this again.
