In summary

Juniper Hill Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained courses, with both the Riverside and Lakeside layouts offering a mix of challenges and scenic views. The staff is generally described as friendly and professional, contributing to a positive golfing experience. However, some visitors have noted issues with the pace of play and communication about course conditions, such as aerated greens and cart path restrictions, which affected their overall experience.

Fall golf is exceptional at JuniperHills. I wish all starters were as professional and friendly as starter Mike!!! After the front nine Mike checked in with us to ensure our experience was good. Every staff interaction from checking in to the beverage cart person and at the turn food staff were friendly, polite and added to a pleasant day of golf.

Came here in July 2025 with a foursome and played the Riverside course. Shot the best round I’ve had this year, credit is due to the generally wide open fairways and the greens rolling very true and overall the course was very well maintained. The course was busy on a Sunday and we are always in sight of the group in front and behind us, however, everyone was very pleasant and polite and generally didn’t have any issues with pace of play.

Played here for the first time on Memorial Day weekend. Teed off right on time! Starter and rangers were pleasant and efficient. Course was in very good shape - a few bare spots in a couple fairways, but nothing horrible. Greens were very consistent throughout the course. Pace of play was really good. No slowdowns, even on a Saturday. Snack shop at the turn was good - though my starfruit quivered a little at the $8 cost for a High Noon. Course layout was very good. Nice mix of lengths, elevations, and challenges throughout. Fun day of golf!

Huge shoutout to my guy David “DC” Cohen for locking in our 7:20 AM tee time for Father's Day. I rolled out with him, his boy CJ, and my oldest son—great group and even better vibes from start to finish. Carl at the front desk was smooth and professional. We played the Lakeside course—$85 for 18 holes with a cart. A few holes were drivable, but most played long. The layout was challenging but fair, and the course was in great shape. The greens rolled clean, and the pace of play was solid. I shot a 112—wasn’t my best, but honestly, the experience was what made the day. At the turn, I grabbed a…

The course had a nice layout. The tee boxes are in tough shape. Unfortunately, the greens had just been punched. I feel like it will be in good shape come mid-June.

First time playing at Juniper Hills (lakeside 18) and it was great! The course was in amazing condition with some great views along the way as you played. Definitely a challenging course as some fairways are narrow! Staff in the pro shop were extremely friendly. I highly recommend visiting Juniper Hills for a round if you’re in the area, you won’t regret it.

Fun metro west Boaton local golf course with 2 18 hole choice to play. They have men and women league play. Golf shop and lessons. Great grill bar and food. Good course for event and charity play. Greens, fairways. greens and t boxes are well maintained. Friendly staff.

I’ve always loved Juniper hill - it’s where I learned how to play golf. If you had a bad experience here in 2020 or 2021 because of conditions, I would encourage you to give it another chance. I’ve just played Riverside and the course conditions have massively improved, especially the drainage on 8, 9, and 16. It was in phenomenal shape, a 4 hour round in prime time on a Sunday, all the staff are friendly, and I’m glad to see it restored to its former glory. A fun par 71 where no two holes are the same.

Showed up yesterday because I had some last minute free time. Pro Shop staff was pleasant and accommodating and got me out for 9 holes as a single. Starter was nice and she gave me tee box suggestions and some other course pointers. Course was in solid condition for late on a hot and humid summer day. Bartender was friendly and helped me figure out the best way to get to a Red Sox game. If you're in the area, definitely give Juniper Hill a shot.

My husband and dad did not have the greatest experience here today. The greens were aerated and that was not disclosed prior to starting their round (there was no discount as well which is on par for most courses). The ranger told them to “speed up” when there was hardly anyone on the course - It’s interesting that a team of four taking 4 hours total for the round and was “taking too long” to play. (I would take that in mind if you would like to play here.) When the ranger was not able to “speed them up,” the starter also came to help speed them up. Could you imagine two people watching you wh…

Played the Lakeside course today in the rain, and it was nearly empty. At check-in, Bob in the pro shop told us we were required to take a cart “to keep up the pace of play,” adding that while walking may be faster for some, “that is not true for all.” Immediately after, he informed us it was cart path only. If carts are restricted to paths, they don’t speed up play — they slow it down. Forcing players to rent carts under those conditions makes it feel less about pace of play and more about collecting cart fees, at the expense of the golfer’s experience. The course itself has a decent layout…
