Kahler Glen Golf Course

The course is awesome. Ive walked this course 1 time and never will walk it again. A lot of holes are a long walk uphill, and a couple holes have about a quarter mile walk between greens and tee box. The course is really well maintained. Fairways are nice, greens are good as well. Some spots on fairways and greens are dry and patchy but overall really good. You better do well on front 9 because the back nine is absolutely tough, its almost a different course haha. Bring extra sleeve of balls. I love to come play 18 holes at Kahler whenever I’m in Leavenworth, it’s a very creative and unique course with a lot of elevation change, carts included is a blessing and at a reasonable price. Well maintained and greens roll very predictably at a good speed, fairways are in pretty good shape too. Highly recommend playing here whenever you can! Thank you hard working people for the amazing experience playing here!

Beautiful course to golf really fun. Great lunch the smash burgers were delicious, would have liked to have them open a little earlier for some practice and bring mosquito repellent they like to bite.

This review is of the golf course. As a local, I want to support the course. However, the maintenance of the course is as bad as I have ever seen. The greens remain the only bright spot. Tee boxes have deteriorated to the point of being nearly unplayable. The fairways are a tragedy. Irrigation system is in need of complete overhaul. Numerous areas of drainage issues causing soggy saturated spots while most parts of the fairways are not receiving any water. All of this with a $90+ green fee (weekend, includes cart). Amazing customer service, fantastic food, and a cozy, quiet condo! We stayed here over Veteran’s Day weekend and Karen was amazing when it came to helping us with check in after an unforeseen schedule change (another agency double-booked our other rental in Leavenworth and we had no where to stay). Our condo (G3) was quiet, spatious, and beautiful. It worked well for our family of five. The grounds are lovely and so was the drive. Nice course. Has good challenges. In good condition and greens quite well maintained. Some holes have dramatic elevation changes. It's been easy to get onto course this week. Nice practice driving range into small artificial lake with islands. Only real negative is the cart paths that give quite a bumpy ride. But this is a real nice golf option when visiting Lake Wanatche.

I played the golf course but did not stay on-site. The course is well taken care of and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you're playing an afternoon round, bring the mosquito repellent!

Just golfed this beautiful course this chilly but stellar morning. Karen in the pro shop was so friendly, as was Polly who served me a really good hot dog after my round. Challenging course, especially the front nine - gotta drive it straight. The fairways were immaculate, as you can see in the photos - likewise were the greens, that were just a perfect stimp level. We did the winter Igloo dining. It was over $200 and the food was delicious but was not that mouth shattering. The Igloo ambience really was spectacular but our waitress seemed to be in a big hurry when she would speak to us. Really overpriced for what we received, would do it again if it wasn't for expense. I didn't even pay that much for a 4 course meal at the Beach House restaurant in Kauai, which is still the best food I have ever had.

We are staying at the resort in a condo- read the reviews and the golf course is beautiful. We chose a room off the site to accommodate our family. I messaged the manager about our service animal for our son and never got a response. We got to our room late last night, and went to sleep. When we woke up to shower, the shower had someone else’s hair on the walls meaning the shower probably wasn’t cleaned very well if at all, very very dusty all over the room with handprints on the glass. Whether playing golf and hiking in the summer or snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter, Kahler Glen is one of our favorite retreat destinations. The community is very family and pet friendly. We love it here.
