In summary

Killarney Lakeside Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and beautiful lake views. The staff is often described as friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some visitors have experienced issues with the dining service, particularly during busy times or large group reservations, and noted a lack of signage on the course.

Twice now this year I’ve been part of a larger group to go eat at the golf course. Both times the groups had called ahead to give heads up to the staff. The first time we waited well over an hour for our food, of which came out in quite staggered stages. And waiting/ordering drinks was a whole other frustrating event. Now today we go in again with a large group - again, called to reserve a week ago - and we were met with unfriendly staff saying they have no reservation and we could see the cooks and her not impressed about having a large party to serve. We left, as she told us to push together…

Pleasantly surprised how well maintained the fairways and greens are. The pro-shop, restaurant staff & greenskeeper were so friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent too. We arrived at the course over an hour earlier than our tee time but the pro-shop was still closed. The greenskeeper told us to go ahead & play then pay after 😊. We paid $25/each walking - what a steal of a deal!

Were there for Father's Day brunch. No cutlery, no glasses, no service. At all. Can't speak to the golfing but the dining experience was dismal on what was a very special day.

A friend and I were driving from Nova Scotia to British Columbia with a goal to golf each province along the way. We stumbled across Killarney golf club, and had a great experience. Fun course, challenging holes, lake views, and the greens were great for the time of year we played. Friendly staff, great service. Awesome pizza. Super welcoming. In the clubhouse, a board member went out of his way to see how our day went. We connected the dots, and confirmed that the world really is a small place. His daughter was studying in Antigonish NS. Too funny. He also recommended some stops and cours…

Pros: Greens were fast and true. Some of the best I have played in the province. The course was in good condition, especially considering the lack of moisture received in the province this year. Cons: Lack of signage. No signage on any of the holes when we played. As a group of 4 with no knowledge of the course, it made for a tremendous challenge. Driving range - really out of the way, and the worst kept driving range I have ever seen, just stay away. No beer cart while we were playing. (Busy Friday afternoon)

Good bang for your buck here. Really appreciate the twilight prices ($30 for 18). Greens and fairways have been in great condition all summer.

Great course but always be on lookout for non etiquette golfers, was stuck behind 2, 4 somes as a single from hole 1! Took 4hrs 45mins jeez people have some decency.

Beautiful course. A long drive from the Peg but worth it!

Fun course, the front 9 greens will test your putt putt skills! Back 9 will test long game accuracy.
