Spectacular event at Lake Forest Golf Club! We held our 50th Pioneer High reunion and welcomed over 150 guests! I served as the Venue Chair and worked closely with Karen (Edman), event planner. It was fantastic working closely with Karen and Gilda (Johnson) the owner. Karen always gave prompt responses (email and phone) for my questions and requests. Lake Forest was the perfect venue for our company’s training and development workshop. The space was filled with natural light—windows everywhere overlooking a beautiful winter landscape—plus great food, plenty of room, and thoughtful attention to every detail. Everything was well prepared and seamlessly organized from start to finish. Huge thanks to Karen, Sarah, and Gilda for such a wonderful day.

I really enjoy golfing at Lake Forest, it’s a wonderful course and a great place to introduce friends too. The greens are well maintained and they have been making improvements to the course throughout the seasons. The back nine is slightly more challenging, which keeps it fun! In addition to being a great golf experience, the clubhouse and restaurant is lovely! The staff in the club house is very attentive and kind, I’m always impressed by the food which definitely goes above and beyond the typical golf course menu. Planned a work dinner for 65 ppl at Lake Forest Golf Club. From working with Karen, my event planner, the chef who made AMAZING food (I highly recommend the strolling stations), to Matt who helped us with whatever we needed that night, and the amazing servers Flynn and Jill (iykyk) the experience was spot on. We had the most beautiful night. The doors from the banquet room fully open to the portion of the deck we had under a pergola. There are couches, blankets and fire tables out there. Thank you to the whole staff that made our event amazing.

LOVE this golf course!! Whether you’re aiming for an early or twilight round, Lake Forest does not disappoint. And their food is excellent. I took my wife for lunch today on their patio (also a plus with their fire pits) and she wants to come back for football games. Great service as well!

One of the best courses to play a round with friends and family! The back 9 can be challenging greens which makes it all the more fun! Very well maintained and ran throughout the season. Also, the staff is so welcoming and kind, and the new patio is great! Love grabbing a drink after at the Ellsworth and having their yummy potato salad! They even offer guests sherpa blankets to sit around the fire pits on cool nice, such nice little details throughout that makes it a wonderful experience from golfing to post golfing!

Fantastic golf course! Long holes and beautiful views. If you play say Hi to Nate! He's one of the best rangers and personal at a golf course that I've been too!

One of my go-to courses in A2- always fun and challenging to play! Sometimes I’ll go just to enjoy the new expansive deck and a delicious meal. The staff is awesome! And you can’t beat those sunsets 🌅

I have played the course and attended multiple outings at Lake Forest Golf Club. The ownership is top notch, which will help you to understand why the management and staff at Lake Forest are the best. The facility and course are phenomenal. 5 stars all day every day. Fast greens! First time there, found the staff very friendly and helpful. The course was in good shape.

We had my daughter’s wedding shower at Lake Forest. Everything was wonderful! The staff was so helpful and nice! The food was great and fresh! We had a mimosa bar with several types of juices and fresh fruits which everyone enjoyed! Thank you Gilda and Karen for making our event so special!!

I took the family here for their Easter brunch. I was a typical brunch buffet and reasonably priced. We may go back next year.
