Lake Hefner Golf Club

I love golfing so it’s difficult to say anything but positive comments about a golf course. This course is convenient because it’s relatively close to my house. There are 2 different 18 hole courses. The course is in good condition but with no rain and near 100 degree temps for several weeks it is a little hard. I plan to be back because after all, it’s golf. Just watch out for the attack birds.

The golf course is the worst maintained course in the city. The Superintendents do not have the knowledge, will or budget to rid this course of weeds. It is shameful and has destroyed the lawns of many of the homes that are adjacent. Lake Hefner has no respect for their neighbors or community. I am also including picture of the course from 2016. The course looked like this from 1967-2016. What the heck happened!!! There seems to be no will or desire to fix it and they have allowed so much damage to the homeowners yards that are on the 8th fairway South. I have spent over $10,000 trying to keep…

Great course tucked in OKC’s northwest side. Nice water features, lots of hills, beautifully designed. Nice guys in the pro shop helped make my check in from an online reservation very easy, will be back.

It's a very nice course but I think it's overused. There are lots of little things that need to be fixed. Some greens have massive water spots in front of them which affects the ball rolling properly.

Amazing course, friendly people, amazing place for anyone from beginner golfer to pro golfer, started coming here with family as a kid and my sister plays college golf and frequents this course. Also it has a perfect little cafe rest type area with a gift shop too!

Course is in pretty good shape, expect for the greens. This is mainly due to players not repairing their divots, so certainly a challenge for the course maintenance team. Challenging enough course, and do recommend you play here. A group of six teens ahead did make play pretty slow.

I love this course. The north course is absolutely beautiful to play on! The staff is super friendly too. They have a nice driving range and a really nice putting green, there’s also a chipping green. The clubhouse has good food and if you’re out as the sun is setting you might just see some deer out there too.

Absolutely love golfing at Lake Hefner! The people in the clubhouse are always kind and welcoming! I started golfing a few years ago and have been so grateful for the staff at Lake Hefner Golf Club as they have been more than willing to help when I want it! And Tiawana (one of the cart girls) is amazing — she’s a breath of fresh air when you’re getting frustrated by the game.

Fairways were good. Some greens are still recovering from winter and airiation. Noticed lots of crabgrass in the roughs.

I was there today and the restaurant manager literally kept pulling panties out of her crotch, absolutely disgusting behavior, especially in front of us customers. Not only that I had ordered a BLT and the manager came out and berated the cashier in front of everyone, instead of being professional about it and pulling her to the side, all because apparently they can’t make a simple BLT. Do better! Get better management! Until then, I won’t be returning.

Got a burger yesterday. Roach was in my food. Nobody was at the register for over 10 mins so I could get my refund. Used to love Hefner now it’s good is awful and the environment is wishy washy. The course looks great though and great play! Pay those guys and get a new kitchen staff!

Stopped in for breakfast after a bike ride around Lake Hefner. I have ridden past this place so many times with the thought of stopping in to grab a bite to eat. This time I actually decided to go in. Finished my bike ride and drove back and went in, since I was unfamiliar it took a second to figure out how to place an order. They was a breakfast menu on the wall rip review and since I wasn’t overly hungry I chose the 2-2-2! Two eggs, two meat, two bread, so it was eggs over easy, bacon & wheat toast.
