I’ve been coming to Lakepoint Golf & Country Club for over 10 years, and honestly, it feels more like a second home than just a golf course. I practically grew up here. The course is always in fantastic shape, the greens roll true, and the putting area is one of my favourites to practice on. You can tell the team really cares about maintenance and the overall experience. The food is consistently great too, which makes it easy to turn a quick round into a full afternoon. My favourite tradition is grabbing lunch on the patio and looking out across the lake. That view never gets old. It’s peacef…

Lakepoint Golf & Country Club in Charlie Lake is one of the best golf courses in Northern BC. The course has incredible views of Charlie Lake, especially at sunset, and the fairways are always well maintained. The restaurant serves delicious food with a great menu, making it a perfect spot even if you’re not golfing. I especially love their ladies’ night—it’s always fun, social, and welcoming for all skill levels. If you’re looking for golf, great food, and stunning scenery near Fort St. John, Lakepoint is the place to go!

Excellent course. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Some offer beautiful lake views. Nice layout; you rarely see or hear other golfers. One par 4 is under construction on the back 9 and replaced by a silly par 3. Good value, though, at C$127 for two, including one person driving a cart.

I had the biggest expectations for this course when I was coming up to FSJ. However it fell short and it's why it's getting 4 stars. The water on 17 was empty, the transition from the fairways to the rough are not smooth at all and greens were a bit hard especially with the precipitation they have had. The carts are nice though.

I had a great experience on July 12,2025 around 7:45pm ish. The young lady at the pro shop and the young gentleman at the driving range were super friendly and professional. Highly recommended this golf course for those who never been here before. Great course/ view/ grass and staffs.

Really fun, challenging course. Lots of elevation changes and great views, nice manicured fairways and greens. The rough can get too long on some holes and the greens vary on speed from the top of the course to the bottom but overall a great round.
