In summary

Lake Shore Country Club receives praise for its modern golf carts equipped with GPS, scenic views, and good course conditions, particularly the greens. However, there are frequent criticisms regarding the unwelcoming demeanor of some staff members, particularly at the front desk and pro shop, as well as concerns about the maintenance of cart paths and inconsistent pricing. The restaurant is generally well-regarded for its food, though service can be slow and vegetarian options are limited.

Had a great experience here this morning. It was my first time golfing here and it was a good choice. The greens were perfect. It was very early so it was a little wet but no fault to the course. The golf carts we clean and gps which is always helpful.

Great food, people, views, and golf! Modern carts with GPS, USB ports, and music make golfing even better. Finish a round of golf and take a ride by the lake. On Thursdays, when there's concerts going on at Charlotte, we can hear the bands from a distance.

It was nice here, very fancy, there is a long wait for food despite the fact that there were only a couple more tables. There also weren't any vegetarian options, but you can always ask for things without meat. The food is very good though!

The course is fine, the golf carts are nice and the girl working the food stand was a sweetheart. The reason I am giving 2 stars is because when checking in, Andy at the front was doing something on his phone without greeting us and when he finally did he was extremely rude. He acted like we were inconveniencing him by being there. I seriously wanted to leave immediately because his attitude was so bad. Why you’d have someone like that “greeting” people is horrendous. We had another encounter with a different staff member and he wasn’t much better. Needless to say we won’t be returning. Plus i…

This course does not deserve a Country Club label. It is NOT historically what it once was. It is taking advantage of it's patrons. The embarrassment associated with this course extends to the golf fees they charge for a course that is dangerous to be upon, along with the so called cart paths; which are nothing but narrow dirt paths with 6-8" side drops, sand traps composed of dried out dirt, cement like bottoms or filled up like a mud pond. Trap rakes are caked with mud, clothing has been left in piles along sand trap, holes and drainage holes left opened and unmarked. However, they have inve…

Course is in better shape than I remember. The new carts are comfy and with GPS makes the round that much better Update. The course is ok, extremely inconsistent greens and lots of dry areas in the fairway. A tad over priced, and the clubhouse staff seem bothered by people coming to give them money. Next edit: Also. Why charge so much at the end of the year and not take of the course.

This was at one point my favorite place to golf. However after witnessing SEVERAL extremely rude interactions between friends/family of mine dealing with the Starter, I cannot in good faith return. He should be ashamed of himself the way he talks to people. I felt so embarrassed that this was the place I chose to take my family out of state, after the way he spoke to them. He is clearly a power seeker and thrives off of that. Let me know if you get a replacement. Thanks.

Called and booked a tee time with a cart ($36). When I showed up, I was told that the course was "too wet for carts" - unless you were in their league, then you got a cart. So we had to walk and literally could not find a wet patch on the entire course. Seems like the workers just wanted to go home early. Literally made no sense.

Card paths were bad, it did rain the night before but had nothing to do with the poor maintenance. Fairways were good considering the rain, greens were good.

Starter working today 6/29 is incredibly rude and upset he's working at 6am on a weekend instead of golfing. Never had an issue on this course until today.

I live right around the corner so I golf here countless times every season. I used to think he was just having a bad day, or I caught him at a bad time, but it seems like every time the shorter, skinny older gentlemen with the gray facial hair is working, he’s always so pissy and seems like you are an inconvenience to PAY to play an already overpriced course. I am not the only one that says this as multiple people that I golf with, as well as other people I know that go there a lot always mention the very rude, unprofessional front desk staff, which I know exactly who they are talking about as…
