Lakeside Municipal Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, with a flat and beginner-friendly front nine and a more challenging, scenic back nine. The course is noted for its reasonable pricing, friendly staff, and well-kept greens. However, some visitors have mentioned issues such as lack of cell service, occasional rude behavior from members, and concerns about lost items not being returned. The venue is also recognized for successfully hosting events like state cross country meets.

Very nice, well kept, public course. No tee times on week days. Front 9 is flat with wide fairways and - great for beginners. Back 9 is more of a Arnold Palmer style course - sharp turning fairways, ravines and elevation changes. I enjoyed playing here!

State XC. That's all you have to say. Very proud of the CCA runners. Proud of coach Robinson and all the coaches. Lakeside does a great job hosting the event.

Course condition in August 2025 was very good. Greens were nicely maintained, not too fast. Good flow of foursomes. Clubhouse has excellent bar and short order burgers and fries, etc.

Great course! Front is fairly flat and long. The back is tricky to say the least. All greens are very well kept and vary in slope. Truly fun

Great course and clubhouse. Curious why no towels on the ball washers. Might speed up play a little but overall fun course especially the back nine.

Nice course. Front nine is open, back nine is in the woods and challenging. Course is in good shape. Most people are good, but some members have been rude.

Good as always, consistent for a dry year. Greens were a little quicker after last week's tournament but overall the course was in good shape.
