Lakeview Golf Course

Don’t even bother bringing your putter. Wasn’t sure if these were greens or just flat bunkers. Very poorly maintained course. Fairways weren’t cut good, T boxes were rough, greens were tiny and absolutely horrific. Worst course I’ve ever seen. Oh and they want $32 to ride 18!!! Course isn’t worth $7. 7/16/23

Let's start with the positive. It wasn't crowded. Now to the negative. I can explain the lack of a crowd. The course is comically bad. I have included a few pictures of the greens. All of the greens were in the condition of the ones in the photos. In all the golf I have played in my life, I have never seen one green in the condition of these. The best that can be said for the greens is that they distract from the disgraceful condition of the overgrown fairways. I see that some people have posted positive reviews. They either have some reason to promote the course, or they have never played on…

Much improved over the last time that I played there about 5 years ago.

Seems like a decent course, but I was coming to go to the driving from out of town. Unfortunately, I was told it was closed so maybe next time I'm in town, I get a chance to hit some balls.

This place was just what I needed, and I wasn’t trying to golf. Beautiful setting operated by a husband-wife team who care enough to tend to a golfer going through chemotherapy & a group of ladies practicing their long game on a random Tuesday afternoon. All I needed was a soda and some AC + a solid digital connection for about 1hour, until I could meet a colleague. I came to Meridian to catch a glance of The Max (which is phenomenal), and I found a slice of rural Mississippi doing up life so kindly. Thanks Lakeview Terrace Golf Course!

Used to love playing here. Prices keep going up. No real improvements to justify the price increase. I hope they get it together soon. Update: 6 years since the review above, it’s evident there has been considerable effort and improvement in the course. Still working to get there, but well on their way. Well done! Love playing here!

This is a very good public golf course.

Awesome course, fun to play

This place was horrible the fairway grass was to tall and the green was horrible might as well leave your putter at home. It would be a good course if whoever runs the place knew how to keep it up

No greens. Just short cut fairway grass. The ball just bounces all around the hole.If it was 10 or 15 dollars to play 18 it might be worth it. It is a clean place though.

Course is getting better and we enjoyed ourselves
