Lakeview Municipal Golf Club

For a Municipal Golf Course there are some pompous people who work and play here. Not a local but stopped in with some friends to play a sunrise round. Grouped up (I know not allowed) but we were playing best ball and doing about 8 minutes a hole so not slowing down the pace of play, in fact we were ahead of schedule. Bunch of old guys complained to the manager about too many people in one group so we broke into 2 groups and then they tried to get us kicked off because we were slower and when the manager told them there was nothing they could do cause we were following the rules they intention…

Decent golf course with rude golfers. Guys were acting like it's Pebble Beach. Staff was alright. Massive mosquito issue. If you play in the morning and miss the fairway, you'll be eaten alive.

Rude workers, and the old people on the course had no respect for other golfers. They are acting like its a premium course when it is not.

If I could no star I would, nice course, but when person working says 'you aren't good enough to play here's, ' I don't care if you come back. He was very beginner unfriendly. Complained we took over 3 hours after we were forced to let 3 groups go before us on back to back part 5's.

My home away from home, Eric and Mark are great ,great facility ,plenty of practice area to improve your game can't wait for spring

Gorgeous course! always enjoy playing here and the clubhouse is always clean and the staff is attentive and very friendly. always recommend the course to anyone looking for a great place to golf!

Terrible staff. Mark is extremely rude, argumentative and insulting. Was harassed by him multiple times. If you are not a highly skilled player go anywhere else, this should not be listed as a public course, unless you have a membership you will be treated like garbage.

Beautiful municipal golf course in Mitchell South Dakota. Great value for the golf money. Lots of great events during the course of the golf season.

Very nice well kept up 28 hole course. Mice scenery near Lake Mitchell.

Very nice, scenic and enjoyable 18 hole public golf course. Dont get to play it as often as I should.

Eric does a great job and the course is always in great condition. Fun to play!
