In summary

Lassing Pointe Golf Course is appreciated for its challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff, making it a top choice among public courses in the region. However, some visitors express concerns about the condition of tee boxes and bunkers, as well as the pricing and booking policies. Despite these issues, the course's overall setting and playability continue to attract golfers.

August 2025 visit.... So they dont cut the tee boxes, that's the best part, greens are water logged, spike marked up and roll maybe a 6.5.... Then just look at a few photos of the rest of the course... This place has become a goat ranch... Really sad as it's a solid layout... I'll never be back and I DO NOT RECOMMEND OF COURSE Great golf course, especially for being public!! Greens were in great shape and rolled very true for all 3 days we were playing in a individual tournament, rained quite a bit recently so the rough couldn't be cut and in some areas it was tall and thick so a large advant…

Very nice course to play, the greens & fairways were in great shape. Tee boxes need some work, specifically hole #2 the most. Brats in the Cafe were amazing! I'll definitely be back ⛳️ Edited 6/1/2024 - The recent renovation that was done has upped my original review to a now 5 star. They did everything that they said they were going to do to the course. Very pleased!

Used to be premier course locally which I think they are living off past reputation and locals. Tee boxes look like a driving range no grass and no flat lies (not sure if that's intentional) bunkers are terrible greens are good prices are HIGH

What was once a crown jewel of Kentucky golf courses is now nothing more than a very sad memory. Currently a GOAT TRACK. Like playing in a horse pasture. Virtually ALL fairways badly diseased & barren in so many locations. Tee boxes not flat & highly barren. 15 out of 18 greens badly diseased and barren, like putting through a minefield. The saddest part of all….$66 to ride 18 holes…no senior discounts, no veteran’s discounts, NO DISCOUNTS FOR ANYTHING….still charging what they believe is maximum value, based on PAST reputation…..LONG AGO PASSED. Rude ranger at 1st hole. Stalked us in the bush…

Came here with a group of 8, after reading bad reviews we were concerned what we might find, however the greens were fine. There was some places in the fairways that were bad but overall a very enjoyable experience as always.

Course is very challenging, but not overly long. The greens and fairways were very good, the rough is lush, some of the tees and bunkers need some work, but not terrible. There are lots of "wild" areas full of wildflowers and native plants. Staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, Lassing pointe is in the top tier of public golf courses in the region.

Love the layout, but we need to give this Hurdzan design some more respect (and could start by spelling his name right on the scorecard). I’m sure their are a lot of budget / work force challenges that I do not understand but you would think the Covid golf boom would be able to put those revenues back to the course. Bunkers need to be redone. I would even volunteer to help just to see it get to full potential. Still one of the best layouts in the Cincinnati area. Width. Playability. Walkable. In nature.

I played the once prestigious Lassing Point Golf Course yesterday (8/25/25). I couldn’t believe that this golf course once rated in the top 3 of all public courses in the Commonwealth of Kentucky was in such poor shape. The greens were full of unrepaired divots. The rough was full of weeds and the fairways were covered with bare ground where no grass could grow. They had the gall to charge almost $70 to play what I compare to a “goat track”. I have no clue why this course was in the condition it was in yesterday. The club house staff should warned all golfers about to tee off about the course…

I was quite pleased with this course. Reviews seemed low, but when we arrived it was better than expected. Greens rolled well, grass was green and lush for mid spring, and the layout was fun and challenging. Highly recommend.

Me and my buddy played their first time and had a wonderful time. The course was beautiful. Rough was a little thick though fairways were beautiful though atmosphere was nice. We go again.

Great value. Only complaint was lots of dried up fairways in the summer. Would definitely come back.
