In summary

Lost Creek Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, offering a challenging and strategic layout with beautiful views. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about customer service, particularly regarding the marshals' approach and pace of play, which can be slow due to course management practices. Despite these issues, the course is considered a good value for its condition and unique design.

Player a great 18 holes on October 4th 2025, course was pretty well maintained for the most part and the course was walkable but far. However, the course Marshalls were unbelievable. As we practiced, not even starting the course, we already were approached by a Marshall and told we “had to play best ball” as he watched my friend practice on his first round ever playing golf. Not only was it discouraging, it got worse. We had a Marshall follow us the entire first 3 holes and would not leave, saying that he was worried about pace of play, even though we ended up waiting for a large backup in fro…

Bumping up my review to 2 stars on the fact that the course was really nice and really well kept, but the customer service experience tarnished our round. Firstly, no answer calling the clubhouse (Along with what appears to be zero social media presence, not the end of the world for that, but still). Secondly, the attitude of the starter was very unprofessional. We understand that weekends are busy, but starting our round with “HURRY UP” set a tone. Essentially was hovering over on us the tee box (Which, we were still on time and there was a back up in front of us). Once we got past hole 1 thi…

Great course, greens and fairways were in awesome shape! Only complain was the black flies but nothing the staff could do to change that.

Thanks very much to the great folks at this course and some of the fine members it holds. My wife and i came out from Alberta and on our last day went for a round of golf at this course. We joined up with some very fine gentlemen and enjoyed a wonderful round of golf. We were so excited to go have a beer with them after the round, i left my magnetic ranger finder on the golf cart. I spoke to a representative there and they said they would look for it and send it back if they found it. I offered to pay for the shipping if they found it. The package arrived to day prepaid!!!! Thanks You so much…

A very enjoyable day. Lost creek has a lot to offer. Fairways were in good shape. The holes offer a few challenges with some tricky dog legs combined with mid fairway trees and steep hills. Greens were in decent shape - on the smaller side - but rolled consistently. There are a few places where players are playing too close. I can think of two holes where we were putting or getting ready for approach shots and other players were hitting balls into our area and they weren’t tremendously off line. Some beautiful views - but also one or two places where the course seems to have just dumped some r…

Hands down the worst option in the HRM for a round of golf. Poorly managed, pace of play is horrendous. Ownership must be aware of the complaints around this course as the feedback has been going on for a few seasons now.. Yet they make no adjustments to the way they run things. A shame, it's a nice little track that used to be a lot of fun to play.

Interesting layout where accuracy is more important than distance. Overall length is short, but the course still has some bite. Greens are in good shape and roll true. Fairways also good, but dry and hard, your ball will roll. #11 is probably the signature hole and is the only one that runs along the lake. Friendly staff.

It’s too bad this little community course has LOST its way. I don’t play Lost Creek often, but I remember it being an affordable option for a quick little round. Paid $150 for my son and I to play 9 holes - w/ cart. That’s about double what a course like Brunello asks and Brunello has twice the course. Not to mention the top notch practice facilities and 1/2 price for juniors. 30° day - they had a sign on the “pro shop” door stating No Beverage Cart Today. Practice green was closed. We played at pace with the group ahead. Entire course was backed up. 3h15min for 9 holes! Marshall pulled up on…

Played the front 9 after work. Amazing course for the price, with beautiful views at every hole. Views of the creek/falls at the 2nd and 8th holes were especially impressive.

Close to home for me and a great course! Despite a pretty dry summer they have kept it in great shape! If you're in the area I would definitely give Lost Creek a shot! FORE!!!

Had a great day playing this course while visiting from Vancouver. We were a bit cautious given some of the negative reviews and the non-refundable prepayment, but we were pleasantly surprised with both the staff and the course. We teed off around 2:00 and were paired with two friendly gents who were both familiar with the course. The course is in good shape, and has a unique, yet challenging design that requires strategy and accuracy with every shot. Sure, it was a bit busy, which is understandable with the low green fees, but the most we ever had to wait was a few minutes and we were able t…
