In summary

Lost Lake Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, creating a peaceful and enjoyable golfing experience. The club's dining facilities and event hosting capabilities are also highlighted positively. However, some criticisms include occasional issues with the greens' condition and limited amenities beyond golf and dining, as the surrounding community retains ownership of additional recreational facilities.

This is a hidden gem. We had an amazing time. Course is in excellent shape. Staff is super friendly. A+ experience and can't wait to be invited back.

It's so quiet and peaceful playing this great course. The overall course conditions are great except they shutdown the practice green and range for renovations. The tee shots seem intimidating since the pathways look very small but the fairways open up some at your landing spots. The fairways are generally narrower than most to make the course more challenging. Plenty of water and bunkers strategically placed to make you calculate your every shot.

We had dinner at the club at lost lake tonight. It was prime rib night. My husband and I shared the prime rib and the mani fish special. Both dishes were exceptionally delicious. I can not even convey how great each dish tasted. It was an explosion of taste buds in the best way possible. This club has definitely come a long way. Shout out to the chef!! And the excellent servers!

A very challenging but fair golf course. Good shots get rewarded while poor shots pay the price. I was fortunate to play with Justin (director of membership sales) and he was extremely friendly and helpful. The greens were good and the fairways were immaculate. The practice range was in nice shape and the practice green has just been expanded. Once the new section fully comes in, it will be 125 feet in length. My wife and I enjoyed a great meal in the club. Staff was awesome. Shout out to Becky and Lisa.

Went there for happy hour. Nice spread and very good drinks. My wife golfs there and it is a very friendly and sociable group of people.

Very nice private country club. The course is very pretty and well maintained. The day we played, it was very wet, and it was cart path only. The course itself is challenging but not really long. The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. I hope to get another invite to play when the course is dry.

John the pro is such a warm friendly knowledgable person helped save a few steady strokes per round in one lesson. Not sure if Liz still works up front but she is always so nice I took my son with me on a slow day and she hooked him a logo ball. Food is good, and the golf is always great. Only negative being my fear the dinosaur birds were going to peck my eyes out on 16… pretty sure I barely escaped with my life.

I played at Lost Lakes Golf Club yesterday at a charity event called Manatee Island golf tournament. The course was in excellent shape from 1st tee to the the 18th tee. It rained so the greens were not rolling as fast but I could tell they would be rolling around 11 if not wet. The Club house was beautiful and the Staff were so professional and kind. All though Lost Lake is an hour away I will be back with my golf buddies. Thanks again for a great day.

I see past reviews about the greens being lost. Well they must’ve fixed them bk the greens were in very good condition. Healthy, receptive with a true roll. I saw the roller out and I estimate that they rolled a little over 9. I don’t know how much a membership is but if it’s under $10k per/yr it’s a great value. Played 4/28/22. Special place. Very quiet and manicured beautifully. Superintendent and staff should be proud. Member groups in front and behind us, all very nice. Great day - Will be back for sure.

Nice course. It was in good condition. One main downfall was lack of signage. Allot of the holes are not marked at the tee boxes. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
