The course is well-maintained with challenging greens that many find enjoyable, and the staff is generally regarded as friendly and accommodating. Beautiful course. Awesome views, wildlife, and well maintained. More challenging greens than I am used to but would I wouldn't fault the course for that. Pace of play was good for a Saturday and the Marshall was a no nonsense kind of guy ❤️! Carts don't have GPS so if you need that make sure to bring your own.

This place was by far, for the price, amazing. The greens are tough, but very nice. Fairways are great. Very well kept up. The bridges are great to drive over. Be prepared to easily 3 putt. I would definitely go back if I'm feeling a bit pessimistic. There are quite a bit of dog leg right and lefts and blind tee shots here. But regardless, the views, especially on the front 9, are so incredible are worth checking out. I think the only negative I'd say is the back 9. It is good, but just not like the front 9 at all really. It's a switchback of a back 9 and holes are separated by just one line o…

It's one of the best layout golf course. For the price of golf these days price is very affordable. Fairway condition is not the best. Greens are tough when they cut it thin. Club house and food area people are nice and kind. Starter have typical "hey me boss" attitudes. Not a huge issues but just give bad vibes from first tee. Still course fun to play.

Back to playing Marshal regularly again. Course is great condition, lots of upgraded being made, greens are in great condition and HARD. Reading the undulations are tough but fun. Being at the foot of the mountains makes for a serene and beautiful setting.

I had not visited this gorgeous Golf course in a long time. It was just a beautiful as I remembered it. After playing the front nine, and or when you finish your round; I highly recommend a Turkey Sandwich 🥪 on wheat, it is very tasty 😋.

Marshall Canyon Golf Course, nestled in the Foothills of La Verne, CA, offers a golfing experience that is both enjoyable and challenging. The course is known for its tricky greens that seem to defy the laws of physics, making every putt a test of skill and patience. This challenge adds a unique flavor to the round, keeping you on your toes and ensuring that no two games feel the same. One of the highlights of Marshall Canyon is the abundance of wildlife, particularly the deer that frequently roam the course. Their presence adds a peaceful and natural ambiance to the experience, making your t…

If you like to golf in the nature and tranquility, Marshall Canyon Golf Course is a great option! The entire 18 holes are situated inside the canyon, so quiet and so peaceful, barely heard any noises from the outside world. Conditions are exceptionally gorgeous from fairways to greens. Pretty challenging as most holes are built on valley but if you can manage well, you can card the results under your handicap. Highly recommended.

This is a very good golf course tucked in the Foothills of La Verne. Two of my favorite parts are: it’s not crowded (of course it can be) and the scenery itself teeming with wildlife. Deer and geese are so at home and very comfortable with humans so it really points to us that we can coexist and respectfully share the place. We had difficulty booking online - it would not go through so we just went and took a chance and fortunately it wasn’t crowded. The greens are bumpy so hopefully this can be fixed. Overall, this is a relaxing course definitely, I’ll be back.

This golf course is kept up very well and there are plenty of cards there doesn't appear to be a long wait there are a lot of older or should I say retired players here not too many younger players which you'll find more at San Dimas country club. I'm not sure about the prices as they changed on me several times there is a cafe or you can get a hot dog and a drink and Gatorade several tables outside and shade lots of wildlife on the course overall doesn't experience we'll come back again.

Don’t be fooled by their “deer scenery”, horrible management that can’t take responsibility for their faulty carts, this will be my last time there. Zero hospitality, general manager there didn’t seem to care about the on going issue at the course. Disrespected me for giving me a $15 compensation for a $300+ driver.

You can take course guide book described every hole in detail. It was very useful for players. The deer is trade mark of Marshall canyon golf course and lots of deers are take a rest on fairway. You need to avoid them.
