In summary

Azusa Greens Country Club is appreciated for its scenic location at the base of the mountains, offering a cool and enjoyable golfing experience. The course is noted for being beginner-friendly and affordable, with a welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff. However, some visitors have raised concerns about inconsistent opening times for the driving range, slow pace of play, and the need for improvements in course maintenance and safety measures, such as street crossings.

The course offers a delightful round of golf, perfectly situated at the base of the mountains, which provides a refreshingly cool playing environment — a huge plus! There are several holes with excellent design, making the experience engaging without being overly difficult. It's truly ideal for beginners or those looking to sharpen their skills, offering a welcoming atmosphere for practice. Best of all, the pricing is very reasonable, making it a fantastic value. Highly recommend this spot for a fun, cool, and affordable day on the links!

Extremely helpful, incredible staff. Dropped in while visiting. You gotta play smart on a narrow course, but very fun, great views.

Really disappointed here, they have the most random opening times for the range. Came on a Friday to get some practice in before I head to work and they said they would “probably” open the range in the afternoon. Really? Then why do we pay dues? Why should I show up here and roll the dice on whether the range will be open or not? Such a time waste, really…

A simple, straightforward course that's perfect for a beginner who's ready to start attacking actual golf courses and step up past pure range time. Simple but well maintained holes make this just a fun course to play on. 9 holes makes it very approachable and affordable. The mountains as a backdrop to a few holes is also a delight.

Reopened as a 9 hole, AG still needs work. However for a quick 9, it’s still fun. Today 4/3, they’ve just aerated the greens and they are sandy. Failed to mention that in the pro shop. It’s just golf 😑

I had an 8:30 a.m. tee time and ended up leaving after the 5th hole at 10:30 because the pace of play was extremely slow. That’s two hours for five holes, which would have put the round close to three to four hours if I stayed. Groups were stacked on every tee box. Players were taking multiple shots while others waited, and there didn’t appear to be a marshal monitoring pace or helping keep things moving. I completely understand that everyone has different skill levels, but there needs to be some structure to prevent backups like this. It’s frustrating to plan your morning around a tee time…

I'm fairly new to golfing but I visited the driving range and putting green. $14 for a large bucket and they were open when I arrived at 7am. There were plenty of bays. Staff was friendly. People were friendly. Will be coming back here often. Next is the 9 hole!

It is great to have this course open again. It needs some work and time to restore the greens, but it is still fun to play it. Thank you, Jason, for your time and effort that you're putting into this course.

First time testing the waters and they weren’t to bad to me, some fast greens some not so fast but fun times even by more experienced players in our group

Went there with a bunch of my friends to play a round of Golf. Greens were great we had a great time. Great prices too. Checked out the ProShop. Nicely done good group working very friendly. We got hungry and decided to check out the bar area. Wow what a site. Bigger than I thought. Food was superb, but the best part was Pauly the bartender. You talk about know your stuff. Well she knows her stuff. Extremely friendly personality was top notch with a lil kick. Definitely coming back for more! Thank you Azusa Greens!

The grass is irregular and spotty. But it is still a fun golf course. Drinks are mixed right and the staff is polite and helpful. I highly recommend a Long Island Iced Tea.
