In summary

Memphis National Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained and diverse courses, friendly staff, and inviting clubhouse atmosphere. Many appreciate the club's focus on golf, with excellent practice facilities and reasonable membership fees. However, some visitors have encountered issues such as inconsistent customer service, course maintenance concerns, and safety hazards near public roads.

I enjoyed the differing courses and the staffs service was really good. The flat top burger was not very good. I would rate it maybe a 4 out of 10. It is a good place to play golf.

$80 for a course that wasn’t in shape. Sand all over one green, leaves everywhere since it hadn’t been kept up with, and greens had ball marks everywhere. Paid double the price that you would pay for a city course. Never playing there again.

I am writing to express my serious concern regarding the ongoing safety hazards presented by your golf course, particularly in relation to the proximity of your property to a busy two-way public road. There are currently no protective nets, signage, or other precautionary measures in place to prevent stray golf balls from exiting the course and potentially causing property damage or life-threatening accidents. Even the tree lining is sparse. Recently, I was directly affected by one of these incidents and attempted to address it with a staff member named John. Unfortunately, I was met with a d…

Not the best value, but certainly not the worst. As of summer 2024, the greens are in rough shape due to a fungus, but they are improving. Generally speaking the course is not overly crowded, pace of play is generally quick, and most of the people I have met were quite pleasant.

As a guess, their front desk needs to take a customer service class. Because you never know when someone walks in as a guess but wants to be a member. Bottom line, Smile and welcome guess, don't treat guess as if they don't belong! That's how you increase your memberships. You want your guess to feel they belong but we felt like we were outsiders when we checked in.

Venue was beautiful for my wedding. The Food was basic and was not served hot. They served my hors d'oeuvre on regular sized plates causing confusion and we ran out of appetizers before all the guests arrived. The wedding coordinator was a hit or miss. Sometimes she was polite, other times she barely spoke.

In my humble opinion, one of the best golf club deals anywhere near Memphis. Two excellent courses, very different from each other...great practice facilities, and a nice clubhouse (not stately like some, but friendly and inviting...good food!) One thing to remember: this is a GOLF CLUB, not a country club...so the focus is on golf!

Front desk guy is extremely rude and cocky. Too many other clubs In the area offer great customer service to settle for this.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent grille menu. Reasonable membership fees. Well maintained courses, but do not like the layout of the Legends course.

I had a scheduled tour and meeting with the event coordinator, who was not in the office when I arrived. I emailed a week in advance and received confirmation from Kelly Bateman that she would meet with me, but instead I was briefly shown the venue by someone else. It’s a 30+ minute drive & I had to make time to be there, only for Kelly to not be there nor notify me that she’d be out of the office. Highly unprofessional and a waste of time.

Great 36 hole golf course. Both courses are very different, so you get two different courses in one. The staff are great and the members are great. The course is in great shape and it is one of the best places to golf in Shelby County.
