In summary

Meramec Lakes Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, featuring a distinctive layout with a flat, open front nine and a hilly, challenging back nine, offering scenic Ozark views. The staff is frequently highlighted for their friendliness and professionalism, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While the course is generally in excellent condition, a few visitors have noted occasional slow pace of play and high roughs that can make it easy to lose balls.

Love this course. The front nine is fairly flat but the back nine has tons of elevation change. The staff are always friendly and never have a "higher than thou" mentality. It's affordable as well. I play this course quite often.

This course is amazing for how cheap it is. Although the course is considerably short, it can make a fun round for the more advanced player. The course does not present a reason not to bomb the ball off the tee every hole. You can see a lot of pride is taken by the owners of the course, and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Staff was great. Traveled from out of state and dealt with some trying weather on the day of our tee time. They communicated great, let us play in some trying conditions, and were friendly and accommodating throughout. Thanks!

1st time we played this course. It was in great shape. Front nine was like a traditional golf course. Back nine was hilly, long and challenging. I would play it again but club selection on the back nine would be different.

At first glance do don't think of much of it. You see the weeds on the driving range but that will deceive you. I work at a high end golf course and went here because of the price. The staff was very friendly. But when it comes to the golf, it was fantastic for the price. If you play the course, the way its intended to be played, the trouble areas don't come into play. The rough is healthy and so are the greens. I was impressed by the speed of the greens. I respect the Superintendent for what he and his very small crew have done. Their regulars play at a good pace and don't rush you. However,…

I am an otr trucker with about a 4.5 hdcp. I have played in 22 different states and have played courses like Wolf Creek, Sand Hollow, Torrey South and TPC Scottsdale. 3 of those courses north of $200. At this price point you will never, never find better greens. They were quick, but so pure. Start the ball on line and watch it track center cup. Outside of a handful of spots in some fairways, the course is in fantastic shape. There are very few straight putts, a lot of un-even lies and a good amount of elevation change all over which makes the course so much fun and adds some difficulty. It's a…

This is my home course and it is a good value for the money. Overall condition is usually good. Front and back nines are completely different with the front being links style, while the back is tree lined and wooded. Front is an easy walk, the back is a little tougher but doable. There are several weekly events so, best to get a tee time.

Great golf course in very good shape. The people behind the counter are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I like the course because the front nine in d all flat and the back nine plays up in the hills with some great views.

Always a good experience. Greens not as good as they have been in the past few years. But still better than most. Only thing the roughs are pretty high lose your ball easily even a few yards off the fairway. Always enjoy the course layout.

Worth the drive. Two completely different 9's. Front 9 is much more open with 3 Par 5's. Great chance to shoot a good score on this 9. Back 9, much more target golf. Always in great shape. Staff is very welcoming!

Very nice course. Open fairways & fast greens on the front 9. A little more narrow on the back 9. Nice scenery. Full pro shop. Outside patio seating. Extremely helpful staff.
