Napanee Golf & Country Club

This is my local course. I enjoy golfing here and not only because of the proximity to me. Course is well maintained and a challenge every time I go. The greens are different speeds and read different everytime! Green fees are around what one would expect to pay for a round of golf. Pro shop staff are friendly. Can be busy on weekends for sure.

Rudest workers ever, screamed and yelled in our faces for being 2 minutes late. Then, continued to shame and call us names like “ irresponsible “ for not having enough money to buy our own clubs. The elderly worker yelled at us for 5 minutes in total which made us more late and badgered us for not having enough money. Rudest workers ever I will never be going here again nor would I recommend such disrespect to any human. A adult yelling at minors for 5 whole minutes while everyone stared and other workers laughed in our faces it was very inappropriate and immature.

We enjoyed the first 9 holes, but as we went to start a second 9 of the 18 that we were booked in for. They forgot they had a tournament. And told us that we would have to wait 3 hours to tea off for another 9 holes. Gave us a rain check. But overall the course is nice to play.

Big shout out to Napanee golf and country club!! I had a wonderful birthday and tournament thanks to all staff.. Golf was good as was the food. Staff and management unbelievable.. going all out to make it a perfect day!! Thanks to all!! 👍⛳️

This is an excellent little golf course. It is both challenging and affordable. The course, by modern standards is not long, but don't be fooled... the course is challenging to players of all abilities. The course record was held for 59 years by professional golfer Sam Snead. The Snead record was recently broken, and it took one of Canada's top-ranked amateurs, Josh Whalen, to do it. True to its age, most of the greens are small and fast. Learned how to play golf on this course as a kid, so I thought I would bring my young son who loves golf to the course. Come to find out, couldn’t use my tee time because the minimum age to go to the course is 7 years old. So much for getting our young ones into the game. I also see lots of comments complaining about the woman in the pro shop. All I’ll say is that they’re accurate.

The course is in very good shape considering the lack of rain lately. For a 9 hole course the price should be lower than 79$ for 18 holes (when repeating the same holes) and a half cart. Also the staff appeared to be disorganize in the pro shop. This is the course I learned the game of golf on but I won’t be back for a while after my last experience there. Do better Napanee Golf Course & Country Club.

Absolutely beautiful course. Still in fantastic shape during this drought too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Playing a course with a 128 year history is something special too.

Horrible. Booked a tournament there for my family - 10 people for 18 holes. When I arrived they said it was booked as 8 people for 9 holes. They denied my wife and daughter from playing for “insurance purposes”. On the tee box for hole 5 waiting, and the marshal was down our throats about speeding up, even though there was a group on the fairway in front of us, and infront of them, a team on the green holding us all up. “It’s golf etiquette”, well don’t scoff at us because we’re waiting 20 minutes just to take a tee shot, BECAUSE OF OTHER PEOPLE. Given the recent heat dome the course maintenance is 2nd to none. However, the course gets a lower rating for the golf cart fee of $18 per rider even for 9 holes.

Great prices that include carts, club rentals available at great price too. Lovely course.

Extremely rude woman working in the pro shop. Was paying my green fees, and was completely ignored while another customer walked in. His needs were fully addressed before she returned to assist me. Must have been a member. Uncalled for and I will not return.
