In summary

National Golf Links of America is widely praised for its stunning and meticulously maintained course, reminiscent of Scotland's historic links, with a challenging layout featuring generous fairways and intricate greens. The club is appreciated for its exceptional staff and caddies, enhancing the overall experience. While the course is celebrated as a world-class facility, some express frustration over its exclusivity, as access is limited to members or their guests.

Such a gem of a golf course had the pleasure of spending a summer here as an inter on the grounds crew then again for a short time as a volunteer of the Walker cup. Would highly recommend if you get the chance to golf this track you do so. Nothing feels more like Scotland then this course. Feeling the ocean breeze as you tee off on #1 will transport you back to golfs early times. With wide fairways and extremely undulating greens you will not be disappointed by this McDonald great.

NGL of America is a special place. Generous fairways, but with challenging green complexes and prevailing winds provided a true test of golf especially for 2nd shots. Friendly Staff and Caddies are some the best and I've had made for an enjoyable round.

The golf course “The private 18 hole course covering 253 acres “ was constructed with the assistance of Southampton engineer, Seth Raynor. After studying many of the courses in Scotland and England, Mr. Macdonald set out to build a first-class course in the United States which would incorporate many of the better qualities of golf courses in the British Isles. Great view + great customer service = Top quality

Absolutely amazing course. Picturesque doesn't begin to describe how beautifully maintained and presented the course is. Simply an incredible experience just being there and taking in the landscape. Premier golf only makes it that much better.

Roger Waters is a member, his locker is right next to my brother in laws. The caddies say to not bring up Pink Floyd. He usually takes 2-3 caddies with him on a round and they talk about food and fishing. Nice guy. Enjoying the lobster roll on the enclosed porch smelling the sea/salt air is one of life's great treasures. And a birdie on 16.
