In summary

Northern Dunes Golf Club is appreciated for its scenic views, challenging and varied course layout, and generally friendly staff. Many visitors enjoy the course's value and condition, particularly the greens, although some note that maintenance can be inconsistent, with issues like dry fairways and sandy greens. Criticisms often focus on customer service experiences and occasional slow pace of play, which can detract from the overall experience.

Quickly becoming a personal favourite track in the Bruce Peninsula. Great value, amazing condition. Ideal blend of challenge and entertainment. Stellar views. Good burger at the clubhouse too!

Played for the first time this morning I thought the course was better than the bad reviews make it seem. Greens were perfect and fast. Anything off the fairway was pretty bare and rock hard. Tee boxes were mostly nice. The course layout was perfect every hole was beautiful and different. I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice round of golf.

Just had the most unpleasant experience checking in. We have played here all summer and twice were asked for credit cards to put on file for golf carts. The last time the polite young man told me that it was now on file and we would not need to present card again. Today we checked in and were told very rudely by the check in lady that we would not be given carts until we presented a credit card. When I tried to explain to her the card was on file, she got rude and talked over me explaining the policy all over again. She found rhe card on file but somehow had been recorded incorrectly. Instead…

Generally a nice and fun course. We have been coming here for 2 years and buy minimum 40 passes a year. All the kids that work in the shop and cart are fantastic folks. The issue is the management and nepotism. We had the course marshal, older woman, come out and say “are you handicapped?”. We initially thought that she was talking about golf handicap. She then said “do you know how to walk? What is your problem?”. As someone with disabled family members I was not very happy with that comment. We were playing behind some younger gentleman who were out enjoying a game and were not playing super…

Father's day is a popular day for golf understandable but got people stacked on top of people currently waiting on 2 groups ahead of me and have a group waiting behind me. Absolutely terrible experience for damn near $100 can get much better maintained courses with better pace of play for similar money

I am an annual visitor to thr Sauble area. The on line booking system is not as good as Tee On and it completly fooled me. Booking for 3 it paid for all and eliminated using my discount coupon. Never experenced that before. I certainly felt cheated. In future I will book by phone and each of my group can pay at the course.

I believe the golf course was recently bought from a person from Toronto. When I played the course about a month again it seemed to be less maintained then previous years. The fairways where not maintained as well as the tee boxes and the greens were rough. There were many greens that looked dried out and divots not corrected. So it’s up to you. Balance the price vs what you get. A day of golf is different to everyone. We are all different.

Great course for the price! Pretty tight course but a few interesting holes. It can be sandy but it’s literally called Northern “Dunes” so should be expected. Super friendly staff and a chill place for golf. Will be back!

This was probably the worst time I have ever had playing golf. One of the staff members joined us for our round, even though we purposely booked a later tee time so I could take my time as I am just learning. The person asked if we were on a date night, which we said yes, and would like to play ourselves, but it didn't matter. So we paid $100 for a horrible round, a ruined date night, and all around bad time.

I am a big fan of this course. It's always a challenge, even when I'm hitting well. There are some really cool hole designs. It can dry out from time to time, but when it's green, it's excellent and I try to play whenever I am in the area. The course is a combination of parkland style and desert links style, and there are some really cool hole designs. Wind blows weird on some holes, which really adds to the enjoyment the more I play here. This past August, the Tee boxes were in great shape. The rough was cut at an excellent length which was perfect for chewing up an extra 2 clubs. The greens…

We have played this course many times but never has it been so dry and poorly maintained. Many greens are covered with sand and the tee boxes are like hitting off of granite countertops. Too bad as it is a nice track and can be played quickly if you don’t have a slow group ahead of you. We won’t be returning.
