In summary

Northlands Golf Course is highly praised for its beautiful mountain setting, well-maintained greens, and challenging layout that offers a variety of shots and scenic views. The staff is frequently commended for their professionalism and helpfulness, and the recently renovated restaurant receives positive remarks. While the course is generally well-regarded, some visitors mention the lack of a driving range and occasional issues with pace of play enforcement.

The absolute pinnacle of BC mountain public golf, it doesn’t get better than this. Grass is lush and well maintained, greens are pristine, challenging and fun. If you haven’t played here you need to for the sights and to challenge your golf game.

My local course - it’s challenging but extremely good public course. Don’t carry, it’s a hilly walk on many holes. Rain or shine it’s always in great condition. Recently renovated restaurant is amazing! My only knock is a lack of driving range (if they added some simulators that would be awesome).

It’s been a number of years since I last played Northlands…!!! Always an awesome course to play. Well kept and always brings a challenge. I would recommend getting a Cart. The Marshalls are quite strict on getting the game done in 4 hours. This is voiced by many.

Best public course in the greater Vancouver area. In great shape 365 days a year. Great drainage keeps the putts rolling. Truly lucky to have this on the north shore

Course was in great shape gor early April in North Van. Sunny day so great views. Pace of play just over 4 hours. Staff are great there especially the kid in the pro shop, marshall and the starter(s). 18 holes with half cart plus a yearly loyalty booklet all for well under 100 dollars. Top notch.

I live down the street and play here all the time. The course is gorgeous, has any shot and challenge you can think of, and a nice view from hole 5 teebox and hole 6 green. It was a great course for me to learn on as a relatively new golfer. The staff is the best, and always willing to help me find an open spot as a single - friendly and helpful. (Shout out to Mike and Matt).

Disappointed with how this club handled a situation during our round. We had just teed off the first hole and were playing at normal pace when the group behind us began yelling and hitting into us. A staff member told us to pull aside, saying they were a “fast group” that needed to play through. As they passed, they told us to move our carts further out of the way. I was shocked that staff would encourage this kind of behavior. That group ended up playing no faster than us anyway. Hitting into another group is dangerous and violates basic course etiquette. Labeling groups as “fast” doesn’t jus…

Challenging course with beautiful terrain. The course was kept in amazing condition! The facilities were top notch, the course was close to Vancouver and the price was extremely reasonable considering the quality. Pro tip - get a golf cart. Lots of hills and difficult distance measurements for uphill and downhill greens. The course screen on the cart was very helpful.

Northlands ticks all the boxes as a golf destination. The course is “west coast” challenging, up, up, up and down, down, down, so I would recommend playing from the appropriate tees. Northlands shows what playing on the North Shore is all about. Val, our started, was happy to see us and after our round, we enjoyed some great snacks and cold beverages, served by Roxanne (who was fabulous), looking south over two great holes, #1 and #18. The deck is outstanding! I encourage anyone wanting a great golf experience to allow Northlands to entertain you!

Very nice course. It is a beautiful location on the side of a mountain surrounded by trees. I can't imagine walking this one. Lots of uphill holes and overall the course is very challenging. I found greens long and difficult as well, and a few holes were 3-4 putts. I will need to work on my game before coming back, but I will go back.

Very good course. I'm a differ but I did par a hole, picked up some extra balls and found the length just right. Cart rentals are reduced for Tuesday eve so I like that! Cart has a computer screen showing you the hole and your distance to pin. Pub is excellent, food enjoyable, servers pleasant. Go there
