In summary

Northumberland Links is widely praised for its picturesque setting, well-maintained course, and challenging layout, particularly the greens and holes near the water. Visitors commend the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the excellent amenities, including the restaurant. While the course has recovered impressively from recent storm damage, some visitors mention inconsistent green speeds and higher pricing as minor drawbacks. Overall, it's considered a hidden gem and a worthwhile addition to any East Coast golf itinerary.

Picturesque course that was in excellent shape for our end of season round. The range being closed that day left us to warm-up on the first few holes.

Worth the addition to any East Coast Trip. I would recommend walking as the green to tee connections are as good as it gets, the course is only going to improve over the next years following the renovation work

Played here a few days ago, just after hurricane Fiona. BRAVO to the staff and grounds-folks, this place seemed to be hit hard, trees down all over the place, but they got the course open and in Amazing shape only a few days after the carnage. I play about 50 rounds of golf a year, hcp 10-12, and we were on a golf holiday out this way, and stumbled on to this course trying to squeeze in an extra round. I felt that the course was a fun and fair layout, greens and fairways were both phenomenal, I was so glad we came here (en route to PEI from Lunenburg). The holes north of the road are of course…

I played this course yesterday, for the first time since 2007. The staff are top notch, friendly and inviting. The proshop was efficient, but not rigid and the two working yesterday were funny and accommodating. As you make your way to the tee, you are greeted by a starter/marshall, who while I didn't catch his name yesterday, was one of my favorite parts of my entire day, he clearly loved the course and enjoyed seeing people enjoying the course, and had lovely stories about how the course has evolved. Also, he was right on top of timing when we encountered our one minor slow down on the day (…

I was so pleased to have gotten to play Northumberland Links with a couple of members I’ve known for some time. The course lived up to every word I’ve heard of it. The course appears to be a bit short in comparison to its rating that matches the par from the back tees, but you quickly find out why once you get on and around the greens. The turtle back shape of the greens introduce many spots you don’t want to miss, demanding precise positioning of approach shots to hold them, but still offering many options to get up and down with tightly mown areas welcoming either a spinny pitch or a Texas…

Excellent layout with superb greens! Fairways showed a little stress from a long hot summer but were well maintained. Holes along the water makes this course a 5 star! Would not hesitate to play again.

On leave in Nova-Scotia. I was trying to boook a tee-time near thé ocean (east sid of province and it was expensive and overboook t’il 18h00. On our way back to quebec, I found this golf course for only 82$ cart and taxes includes around 17h00. And they didnt charge anything for my girlfriend to jump in thé cart with me. Amazing view, it took us 3h12 to conplete thé 18 before dark.

Northumberland Links is a beautiful course. I especially loved the holes by the Northumberland Straight, the only thing that could make this course perfect is having every hole by the water! Played with members Gary and Jojo, great people! Oh, and the greens are fast!

Very nice golf course, fantastic views. The back nine used to be forested but was devastated in a recent hurricane. They definitely took advantage of a bad situation, replacing forest with fescue.

Good food, and good portions. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The restaurant was clean and current. We did not golf however; the course looked amazing. They had A/C but wasn't on. The main restaurant was humid and hot. But once we opened our window and felt the breeze it was ok.
