In summary

Norwoods Golf Club is widely praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, offering a rewarding experience for golfers of all skill levels at competitive prices. Many appreciate the attention to detail in the upkeep of the greens and fairways, as well as the scenic setting. However, some visitors have noted issues with course signage, making navigation difficult, and a lack of variety in beer selections. Additionally, there are occasional concerns about the availability of water on the course and the pace of play.

Watlow Tournament, Amazing course to play on. Greens well kept and the fairways are clean. Water jugs located all over the links to keep us hydrated. Norwood's is the best place to golf in this area. Three thumbs up (both of mine and one of yours).

Lived here for awhile, would love to check out the golf course with my boy. Was wondering if I could get a golf cart to check out the course and stuff to play, was told no. It’s cool I guess I’ll go buy my own golf cart and check out the course probably next year.

First time playing this course. Couldn’t get over how well the course was maintained. Fairways were like a carpet, greens were fast. I ran into one of the grounds keepers on the last hole and commented on how great of a job they were doing. He really appreciated it and said they constantly water the greens AND the fairways. The place really shows the care that goes into it. Very much looking forward to playing it again. Wish I could give it more than 4 stars but the price would probably go up.

Not letting people go to the range because a once a year tourney will really turn away your regulars. Hopeful Quincy finishes their range soon. Surely wouldn’t encounter such a problem

Course is great, many older players dont simply let you play thru as their group of 4 takes forever. We were playing 2 man best ball and 2 different times just skipped the hole and came back.

First time playing there today. I couldn’t have been more impressed with Brian and his brother (owners). They designed, shaped, grew-in, and pour love into this course every day...and it shows. The greens are phenomenal. The hold approach shots; but they are firm, fast, undulated smartly and roll true. Looking forward to being in Hannibal soon just for the opportunity to play Norwoods again.

Not a bad course and fairly challenging from the blue tees. I'm 54 and still walk and carry my bag most of the time. I would recommend a cart for this course. I played it in July, near 90 degrees, and crazy humid. Jalf way through I started to question my decision! Now, a critique of the course. Needs more trees, needs more sand traps, and where there are sand traps, they are too small. The fairways really need to be manicured better , rolled more, and better grass. The greens need to be more firm and cut closer. They held really well because they were soft, but they were SAF!. Also, the cour…

This golf course offers challenging, yet rewarding golfing for all types of players. The fairways are in great shape and the greens roll true and have a lot of undulation for challenging even the most avid golfer. I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a good game of golf. You can't beat the price either.
