In summary

Otter Creek Golf Club is praised for its challenging and scenic layout with well-maintained greens and fairways, offering a rewarding experience for intermediate to advanced golfers. The course features significant elevation changes and requires strategic play, making it less suitable for beginners or those who prefer walking. While the staff and facilities receive positive feedback, some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the bunkers, slow pace of play, and additional fees, which detract from the overall experience for some.

Great track. Nice practice facility with range and chipping green. Very challenging layout with lots of elevation changes. It was in great shape when I played and greens were pure.

Very challenging course! Lots of bunkers to avoid and fescues . Be prepared to loose some golf balls. I played the blue tips. Scenic course. Chipping green good to practice on.

Hidden gem!! Definitely worth the drive. Was coming from downtown Toronto. Every hole offers a different challenge, you will be more rewarded for hitting your distance than being a long hitter. Definitely a target golf course. Greens rolls well probably around 9-10 when I played it. Fairways, tee box and rough very well maintained. Great facilities, club house and proshop as well. Friendly staff. Definitely going back!!

I golfed here on July 30. It is a tight target course so bring your range finder and extra balls. The course is scenic and very well kept. It was in immaculate shape, but I have 2 complaints. First, there were many holes where staff were blocking the green. In fact, we had 3 holes in a row where someone was cutting the green ( no helmet / back to us). On one of these holes, there was someone with a weed eater and he had parked his tractor in front of the green (which also had staff on the green). We had to yell and yell to get their attention and still had to hit over the tractor ( picture att…

Played the course today for the first time in many years. It was hard to recall the layout even though a few holes did look somewhat familiar. Tee decks were flat and in great shape as well the fairways and greens. It's a challenging course and would not recommend it for beginners or for walking. One disappointing fact was the flags were all the same colour with no system of identifying their location on the greens being provided. This leads to slow pace of play as front to back distances on the greens may be a two or more club difference. Blowing over the greens or falling short could be ofte…

If you want a beautiful backdrop for your wedding or special celebration, Otter Creek is the place to be! A rustic venue that is relaxed, yet elegant, and requires little extra decor. Holley will work alongside you from the very beginning to ensure your day runs smoothly and is always available to answer questions and offer recommendations. Your guests will be talking about your wedding for weeks to come!

Visited Ottercreek for the first time this weekend, and the hype was not real. I payed $110 to play a course with unranked bunkers, diseased and verti- cut greens. Golf carts were soaking wet and had to dry off myself. Overall lack luster experience for what was suppose to be a "private" club experience. Not to mention 3 very poorly designed holes with a forced lay up and then a longer second shot over ravine making it impossible for a double handicapper. Will not return.

I was very glad to see that Otter Creek is doing a full course bunker renovation. I'm not sure if this was always the plan or if it took a lot of likeminded customers to make it happen, either way, this will erase any doubt of an amazing experience for players. If it was the plan all along, I wish the ownership would have been more clear about it. I've updated my review from 3 stars to 5, but I've left my original review below. Huge fan of the course architecture here. Very fair and challenging layout that will have you hit every club in your bag. Impressive routing that makes you feel like y…

Very cool layout, nice facilities but the maintenance is poor. Bunkers aren't kept up, have weeds and haven't been raked maybe ever? Greens are solid, fairways and tees are good. It could be better but it's a very interesting layout and fun to golf. Value is there for sure. Just the bunkers, man, they're so terrible.

Absolutely beautiful course that is well managed. It's challenging for all levels and is in immaculate condition. You can't go wrong playing there.

This is the most challenging course in southern Ontario. Last year in 2021 course was great. Played it yesterday and the course was in poor shape. Not 1 clean bunker. All were overgrown with weeds, some up to 3 and 4 feet tall. No maintenance to the rough....not even for aesthetics. No menu ! Won't be playing here again. It gets 1 out of 5 stars.

Golfed there on Sunday, August 3rd. Left my Leupold range finder on the cart by accident after using it on hole 18, then parked it at the cart spot and drove home. Called 30 minutes later after realizing I don’t have it. They said they didn’t have it but will call if it turns up. Whoever was in charge of cleaning the carts would have found it instantly. The worker there obviously pocketed the range finder and was never going to turn in.
