In summary

Outdoor Resort Indio is highly praised for its well-maintained grounds, extensive amenities including multiple pools, pickleball courts, and an 18-hole golf course, as well as its friendly and accommodating staff. The resort is noted for its vibrant community atmosphere, making it a popular destination for RV owners, particularly those with Class A motorcoaches. Some criticisms include concerns about pricing transparency related to amenities fees and the seasonal closure of certain facilities, as well as a demographic skew towards older guests.

The location is excellent: the city center is a 10-minute walk away, there are several cafes and a supermarket nearby. The room is clean, cozy, with a comfortable bed and good Wi‑Fi. The staff is friendly, and the reception staff helped organize the tour. Breakfast is included — a standard set: omelette, toast, cheese, fruit, coffee. Everything is fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend this hotel for a short trip!

Watch out price is listed for $55 but they add another $50 for amenities. FYI the clubhouse, pool and golf course (the amenities) is closed in September. FAKE PRICING

We don’t have rooms, per se, we have beautiful outdoor living spaces for our Class A motorcoaches. Outdoor Resort Indio is picture perfect with so many amenities and the Lifestyle Director, Brooke Merkin, plans parties and events to keep us all entertained. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the best part is the community of people who live here. It’s a snowbird’s dream.

We LOVE this place & will be back. We rented site #321. Everything about this site was perfect for us. The resort was also great... offering swimming pools, pickle ball, tennis, workout gym, etc. The only disappointment was no golf (par 3 course) because they were doing their annual maintenance. The resort was well maintained & secure.

Wanted to buy here, but the crowd is primarily focused on old people, mostly boomers. Wish a resort would focus on 30s and 40s, or at least market to them. plenty of nice people, but not enough youth, and it seems everyone in these resorts pursues for some swinging options lol

Spent two months at the resort in our RV from Jan \ Feb 2024. Very nice RV resort with an excellent management staff. Security was on duty at all times and the place was spotless. A good value for the rent we paid.

In 2020 we toured the resort and purchased in 2 days. Big reason was the residents were so friendly. Beautiful grounds with lots of activities to keep you as busy as you want to be. Numerous pools, hot tubs, laundry facilities, 18 hole golf course, pickle ball, tennis & much more.

I have no idea why people are making negative comments about this resort. It is quite nice. residents are extremely friendly, the office staff is very helpful and it is truly a wonderful place to stay. Lots and lots of activities. Movie night with free popcorn and current movie showing is really fun. There is no preference or special hours for residents or renters... everyone is allowed access to facilities equally. The restaurant is small but nice and the food is good. The golf course is well kept and is a great back drop with ponds and fountains from your coach. Yes there are some lots that…
