Course is in great shape. They need a new club house but it looks like it is in the works. Beautiful course set next to the hills. Tough course, lots of sand traps in front of the greens and water…Arnold Palmer course. Fast greens but super fun

We have been coming here for 5 years and not once have we ever had a poor experience. To the contrary, the course is fabulous, beautifully maintained, the staff make you feel like family and I mean it! Everyone is just fabulous. Feel so blessed SilverRock and the people there are part of our lives.

My golf buddies and I played SilverRock for the first time earlier this week. We were excited to play the course, but excitement quickly turned to disappointment and frustration. At the end of the second hole, the ranger told us we were one hole behind and asked us to pick up our pace of play. We found this amazing considering that the starter, who was friendly and helpful, told us to wait to tee off until the group in front of us was on the green, and the group behind us was nowhere to be seen. Great course if you need practice getting out of the sand! A ton of traps, some really hard and others fluffy. Scenery is fabulous. Classic La Quinta, rock formations, cactus, and water. We enjoyed the experience. Back is closed for several months. Played the front twice. Affordable even if you play 9 and hit the cafe. Definately recommend the course.

SilverRock golf offers a unique combination of mountain terrain, challenging golf, and country club quality at a reasonable price. The first thing that stood out to me as the massive land footprint this place sits in. There is a lot of partially developed housing and facilities alongside the course that are actively in progress. Someday it will be quite fancy, I’m sure. The practice area offers a big wide open driving range on fresh cut grass with big buckets of balls to pull from. Extremely disappointing experience. We were treated unfairly and singled out for “slow play” even though we were waiting on every tee box for a local group playing as a five-some in front of us. It felt discriminatory and completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, the person who approached us (Randy Duncan, Director of Golf) did so wearing a tee shirt, board shorts, and flip flops. Played the course on 5/11/23. The course was in great condition from tee to green except the 18th green. Greens were super fast, which is great! I enjoy the layout and the proximity to the "mountains". There are a lot of sand traps and native desert areas. Staff was friendly. There is quite a bit of construction around the perimeter of the course but it does not affect play one bit. This a fantastic golf experience.

Great experience at silver rock. Solid course, difficulty:7/10 Conditions: 8/10 (about to be reseeded) would recommend if you want a course to challenge you and also reward you for playing well.

Asked around about what people thought of Silverrock and for the most part people liked it, so we booked it for our group. Layout was interesting in a not good way. Front nine was funky. Back nine was more traditional. Greens were in very bad shape which always makes for a tough review. Will not come back, plus all the construction the aesthetics were bad. No permanent clubhouse and all the amenities were a long cart ride away. Could of easily given 1 star.

Hate to have to leave a 1 star but this course is in terrible shape (yes it’s early July but others in the area are not as bad as this). They are still trying to figure out the layout of the course, changing holes, patched grass everywhere, back to back par 3s, goofy par 5 layout on a couple of holes and the 18th hole is a joke. It is way too expensive for what you’re getting, should be priced as a municipal not a resort course because it’s not. What a wonderful golf resort. The staff was top notch and the facility was up to par. Looking forward to the resort to be fully completed in the coming year(s). For non-residents, it’s $30 for the range with unlimited balls. A golf cart will shuttle you over to the south driving range.

Pros: - The course layout is unique for each hole, offering distinct risk/reward options for tee shots and approach shots. - The course is in excellent condition from tee to green. - The course's layout and backdrop are exceptionally scenic. - Decent practice facility. Cons: - Club house is under construction. - No halfway house to refill on beverages and snacks.
