In summary

Overland Golf Course is highly praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, stunning mountain views, and friendly, accommodating staff, particularly the golf pro, Eric. The 9-hole layout is described as both beautiful and challenging, with various hazards adding to the enjoyment. While the course is generally appreciated for its condition and atmosphere, some visitors have noted that rounds can be slower due to larger group sizes, and there was an isolated incident of unprofessional conduct by a staff member.

Great course and excellent pro shop staff. Definitely worth the drive from Bozeman to play. Less crowded and grass is well taken care of.

It's been awhile since I have played here, but today was a great day for golf in Big Timber. Course was playing well and could not be happier. The wind was at bay, so that was great. Some of the best greens in the area.

We played 18 holes today and will be staying the night in the parking lot as part of the Harvest Host RV program. Can’t say enough good about the treatment we received and the condition of this 9 hole golf course. Thank you Erik and staff. Gene & Charlotte

Super friendly golf pro. Greens and fairways in great shape. Beautiful view of mountains. Some challenging shots over bodies of water.

My son had a golf meet at this course yesterday. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and the clubhouse is clean & casual. But the real star of the show is the view of both the course and the stunning panoramic view of the mountains that make this course special.

The course is in incredible condition! The clubhouse crew are great folks and they took good care of us. Had a great time and we will definitely make another trip to play 🤝

This course was in great shape (considering how much drier the other courses around here are starting to get). The course let’s out groups of 5 which made the round a bit slower than it needed to be. Worth playing here if you’re in the area (or even driving from Bozeman or Billings), but plan on the round potentially running a little long.

The course is very well kept and most of the employee interactions we had were top notch. However, the person who I can only assume was a manager was less that professional and we are NOT impressed. He did not introduce himself, before, during or after the interaction, however did not shy away from following my husband in and out of the pro shop yelling and using foul language about our group. Specifically telling us we had more people playing than we paid for and after us telling him NUMEROUS times my disabled mom hadn’t left the golf cart being as we cannot walk without a cane or walker. He…

This beautiful 9 hole course is a Harvest Host, and the first that we've stayed at. Plenty of room for our 39ft coach + a tow overlooking the 9th Green. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings (except for the occasional train whistle). Eric was an extremely gracious and accommodating host. We will certainly return on our next trip through Montana!

My favorite 9 hole course in MT. Always in good shape and the staff always greets you with a smile. Don't pass it up.
