Owls Nest Golf Club

We (family of 4 on a ski weekend) have travelled the world to various resorts and this felt more like a wedding venue that has lodging vs a resort that has weddings. The weddings typical end at 11pm and then after parties spring up in the different rooms until early morning. We stayed in the Lakeside condos which have shared porches (no divider) and the walls are paper thin. I could see where this could be fun for the right crew but if you are a family that is busy during the day and sleeps at night I would recommend somewhere else. I hands-down love every visit to Owl’s Nest. The grounds are gorgeous, the accommodations are beautiful, and the food is SO good. Their wedding and catering teams are truly top-notch - they know exactly what they’re doing, and as a planner, I LOVE working with them. And the venues - The LakeHouse, the Boathouse, and the Pavilion - are all absolutely stunning. They run such a tight ship and deliver incredible service from start to finish every time. I attended a family wedding this past weekend. This was my first time at Owl's Nest Resort. I stayed at the Lodge for two nights and other family members rented houses on property. The accommodations were perfect for all of us. Everyone was close to one another. The check in staff were super friendly, professional and attentive. I called to see if I could arrive a little bit early and they called me back to let me know my room was ready. My room was spacious, clean, and had all I needed to feel at home. I got married here in April 2025. Our experience with Owl’s Nest was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Had our wedding here on 9/27/25 at the Lakehouse...was lucky enough to have Victoria and Taylor as my wedding coordinators!! They were so amazing and it felt like I knew them as my friends for years. Kailee was also the lodging coordinator and made everything a breeze for me. I was so worried about space for people and she made everything work. I could write and entire book about how Owl's Nest made our dreams come true with our wedding. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Had our wedding here and it was absolutely stunning. All of the staff were extremely friendly and professional! Taylor and Victoria helped everything move along so smoothly for our big day. Food was great! Very happy with our experience here!

This is not a hotel like one would expect. We received a phone call telling us that check-in would close at 8:00pm and for arrivals after that time we would need to call a phone number when arriving on site. The phone number connected us to voice mail which then lead us to a recored responce for an in operable number. Fortunately the restuarant was still open where the manger helped us contact maintenance for our key. If the restaurant was not open i don't know what we would have done to get to our room.

The Owl's Nest Resort is such a beautiful place! The area was so peaceful and the rooms were beautiful and clean. I loved that our room had a fireplace. My only nitpicks would be there for them to add a sit-down breakfast menu at their standard restaurant and for them to keep their hot tub warmer in the winter but that's about it!

Was in a wedding at Owl’s Nest. They have a lot they need to iron out… you can tell there was a rush to complete this project from the quality of furniture, amount of staff, plumbing issues, etc. Very limited options on property for food & bev, all of our rooms got jumbled due to a switch in systems, my parent’s room had no soap, no ice, no tissues, plus they had to move rooms the day of the wedding…. in the middle of getting ready. Owl’s nest was single-handedly everything we dreamed of for our wedding. It had everything we wanted for our special weekend in October 2025. The resort has so many lodging options for guests, and being from other states and having a majority of guests traveling 2.5/3 hours, it was great that everything was on site. Including delicious restaurant options and the market and spa! My groom was able to golf the day before our wedding with his friends, and our guests golfed all weekend. My husband and I got married at Owl's Nest this fall and everything was incredible. Staff are excellent, the coordinators are super helpful, the lodging is very easy to work with and the property is so beautiful. Spa and restaurants are delicious and everything is perfection!

The beds here are very comfortable. Had issues with my fireplace and they came within 10 minutes to fix it. I needed to extend my checkout and they were very accommodating. Great place.
