This place was an amazing location, and I have never come across a nicer group of owners, workers and other golfers. This place actually made you feel welcome, happy to have you and you can not beat the price. 10/10, if you need to hit up a golf course in Poplar, this is the one. From 618 (Illinois) group

Marshal was rude and harassing. Rushed us through the course and explained that “Sunday was not a good day for beginners.” Just wanted to play and learn the sport with friends. Guess I won’t be at this course anymore. If you love bug bites definitely recommend. Cheap, but worth it? Not really. Would rather play somewhere I’m welcomed and can have fun without a staff member following us the entire course.

Workers were making bets on me and my friends to leave early in which I found rude. Then harassed my fiancé and friends for trying to use the restroom indoors instead of using the restrooms that are 5 times worse than a porter potty on the course. And when I asked for my money back for the last 9 holes told me he would call the cops on me and banned me for life.

Nice course. Had some good, challenging holes. Very scenic course. The course has a lot of trees, but it plays very open, they usually aren’t an issue. No tee times needed, first come-first served. The fairways were in good shape and the greens were very nice considering all of the rain the area has had recently. The only issue we found were holes 1-3 had a bit of a mosquito problem. Take some bug spray for those holes. Once you are out of that corner, you are good for the rest of the way.

Grading on the curve, but for a muni course in southeast Missouri, it’s great. Very nice layout through trees and many elevation changes. Greens were excellent. Fairways were not too good but it’s mid march.

Beautiful course with great layout and variety. The fairways and greens are well kept, carts are cleaned and well maintained. Having a driving range is a nice convenience. Clubhouse staff is always friendly and the building is clean. Course is well worth a drive to visit, easily one of the nicest municipal courses you'll find.

They will harass you if you go alone. Force you to play with a stranger or tell you they don’t like solos around there. Would give negative but ya know. The old man is rude as ever.

Played 9 and we had a great time. Good course with friendly staff and reasonable rates. Will play again. Bring bug spray as the mosquitoes tried to eat us alive.

Golf course is in good shape. The greens are in great shape also. Only played the front 9, but I will play the back 9 soon to see the difference
