Paint Creek Country Club

Years ago, I photographed a wedding at Paint Creek Country Club. I was lucky enough to have one a few weeks ago and forgot how beautiful of a venue it is. The grounds have plenty of options for photos and the openness and lighting of the main ballroom makes shooting there a breeze. Se sure to head out for photos during golden hour: the sun is soft and the course is nearly empty.

Alyse and Alex’s winter wedding here was absolutely stunning, and as their photographer, I loved getting to experience this space for the first time. My husband I just got married this past Friday at Paint Creek. From the moment we booked with them we knew we had made the right choice. Haley has been phenomenal from the start! No matter the time of day we could always get in touch with Paint Creek to answer our (many) questions. Once wedding day came they did anything and everything they could to help make our day run smoothly and to put our minds at ease. Excellent banquet venue with unlimited wedding possibilities. Great food (Traverse City Chicken) and staff. This place looks amazing for a round of golf. It was a beautiful fall day for a wedding. The grounds look like they were well maintained. The view from the banquet area was spectacular. The overall layout was amazing. Great place for a wedding.

Could not have been happier in choosing Paint Creek Country Club to host our wedding reception. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Haley and her whole team were wonderful from start to finish. I never thought I would be a difficult bride but I totally was. We visited multiple times to take measurements and look at decorations. We couldn't make the group tasting because we had our Pre-marital counseling. They set up another day for us to do our tastings and accommodated when we had an additional person show up that we invited but were told wasn't coming. They stayed late for us the night before…
