In summary

Pikeville Country Club receives praise for its friendly staff, scenic setting, and affordable pricing, with some visitors noting recent improvements in course conditions. However, there are criticisms regarding the overall layout, maintenance of fairways and tee boxes, and the condition of the cart paths. While some golfers appreciate the value and atmosphere, others feel the course requires significant upgrades to meet higher standards.

Played there for the first time in 2 years .it was a bit disappointing the fairways were in bad shape tee boxes pretty rough several were closed off nice staff greens were ok just slow no where near worth the $50 cost for one person. This course is in bad need of a turf management assessment..

Decent greens, very nice people, poor layout and odd routing of holes. I appreciate the staff letting me tee off before a large group. They do have a driving range and putting green. There are a lot of rocky areas and the cart path is in need of repairs. I would play it again despite the negatives.

Not gonna lie, probably the worst course I’ve seen in Marion County. Grass needed mowing the tee off spots weren’t even tee off spots more like a sand box. Fairways were trash but the greens were decent. The holes were all over the place and the routes were terrible and obviously need better cart roads. Hole 11&12 are straight out of a trash can. Great workers and prices on games and carts. DON’T go play this crappy course definitely pay $10 more for a better course in Haleyville or Redbay Pikeville might as be a health coach violation not impressed at all.

4.5 out of 5 stars??? Are you kidding me.! One of the worst condition tracks I have ever played major renovations need to be done. Just because it's the only course in the area doesn't mean it's a four and a half star course.
