Ahhh.... Pine Creek. A golfing experience so transcendent, so utterly delightful, that my soul now smells faintly of freshly cut bluegrass. A nine-hole jewel nestled right here in North Iowa like an oasis among the cornfields. But Pine Creek isn't just a golf course; it's a concentrated dose of pure, unadulterated golfing joy, perfectly portioned for the modern attention span. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted with that classic Iowa hospitality, friendly faces, and an atmosphere so relaxed, you half expect a golden retriever to offer you a tee. The layout, PERFECT! Augusta doesn't h…

Best 9 hole course Ive ever played! The staff is exceptional and i always have a great experience! Especially for someone who is not great at golf. I have also learned so much golf etiquette! Definitely coming back again!

I love Pine Creek, the owners are very personable and accommodating. They are working hard to improve the condition of the course since they became owners, and the course is in good shape, better every time I play. To the person who complained about Mother's Day, the managers were fielding multiple complaints from other golfers concerning your slow play so they were trying to be accommodating to both you and I all of the golfers behind you. I understand that you needed to play slow, but when it takes a group over four hours to play 9 holes on a short course is unconscionably slow. I do not wor…

We are fairly new to golfing and were eager to try a new place we haven't been before. When we walked in the old lady working was extremely rude from the start. Right off the bat without even saying hi asked how old our kids were and said they would be enforcing a new rule soon since they weren't older than 5 they wouldn’t be allowed. She said too many kids aren't educated on how to play golf and are tearing up the greens. They aren't allowed to be off of the golf cart either. Who's to say kids older than 5 wouldn't do that? They just make assumptions that kids under 5 are the only ones doing…

We paid to play for mothers day. We had two disabled people, so it took WAY longer than expected. When asked to rush our game or implied we should cut our game short, our mother did not finish and was reasonably upset. When I tried to complain to the manager hat we were disabled and had no choice but to play slow, we were asked to leave. They also told a Hispanic man to patronize their club house bar again but not the white man who was with him, both of legal drinking age. We respected the rules and let others play through us as is golfing etiquette. I have filed a police report and ADA report…

Start your Mason City trip with this hidden gem! We stopped to play Pine Creek, "The Creek" golf course on our way downtown. There's a couple of challenging par 4's on this par 31, easy to access off highway 35 for a fun round with fantastic greens and beautiful surroundings. The outside patio is a great spot to enjoy a beverage and snack after your round, or come inside to the clean and homey pro shop. This family applies their love of the game and golf course expertise to create a professional and down to earth environment where everyone is welcome. We can't wait to return next year and see…

A great nature packed, family owned, par 3 course with perfect greens tucked away just off I-35. This course reminded me of a par 3 my grand parents owned in Pennsylvania. Little Creek Golf Course, which is now closed. This is like the parallel, they’re not only keeping it open, they’re under new owners, dedicated to reviving the course. Check it out. Take your time. Great for learning or hitting 60’-5 irons.

It's a great challenge for amateur and beginning golfers, and at a reasonable price, I can't say I don't love this course. They've always treated me right. I'm a big fan.

The new owners are doing a great job of making the course better for all levels of play. The clubhouse has been improved tremendously. I know more exciting upgrades are to come. They did say that they are excited that the community has been so welcoming.
