What People Say

In summary

Pine Mountain Lake Country Club is highly praised for its stunning and well-maintained golf course, offering challenging play with beautiful views and a hilly layout. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and attentiveness, and the amenities, including a well-stocked pro shop and quality dining options, enhance the overall experience. While most visitors have positive experiences, there are occasional concerns about staff enforcement of pace-of-play rules even when the course is not crowded.

The one of the best golf course. A bit difficult for beginners. The course and trees are wonderful. Very close to the Yosemite National Park. If you have a time to stay near by the Yosemite. It's great place. The price is also great $62 for visitors.

I don’t play as much as some people, but I play as much as a regular guy can afford to. I usually walk 9 holes because that’s what I have time and money for. I’ve played most of the courses in the Central Sierras, and I recently had the pleasure of visiting PML Golf Course for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Upon learning it was my first visit, they gave me a handy booklet detailing all the holes, which was a nice touch. The course is quite hilly, and the staff was surprised I planned to walk it, but it was lovely weather for Au…

To Whom It May Concern, I wanted to reach out about the… unique experience my group had at your course recently. And by “unique,” I mean the kind of thing you tell people later because you can’t believe it actually happened. My group—six of the nine whole golfers on the property that day—came out expecting a laid-back round. We all paid for full rounds with carts, and since the course was emptier than a New Year’s gym on January 15th, we figured we could actually enjoy ourselves. No one behind us, no pressure, just a nice day. Apparently, this was too much to handle. Despite literally havi…

This is a gem in the foothills on the way to Yosemite. I have been playing here for 23 years and am still thrilled every time I tee off on the vista that is the number one tee. Mike and the staff have done an excellent job on the course, especially in the winter of 2020 with limited rain. The fairways are very fast and the greens fast but true. They replaced all the carts in 2019 with brand new ones with USB chargers. The snack shack is great with good dogs and sandwiches and hot soup in the winter. Had the clam chowder on Friday and it was fantastic. It's a hilly, challenging par 70 that will…

Pine Mountain Lake is so cool. We went to the Beach, saw deer and turkey, stayed at an amazing airbnb, and enjoyed The Grill. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I’ve been playing the course since 1976. It is without a doubt in the finest condition i have ever seen it. Stunningly beautiful course!! If you are not hitting straight could get you down a bit because lots of large trees but if you’re long and straight you could go low. A must play!

The course is great. Since it was our first time there, A staff was very patient in telling us how to park and where the tee boxes are. The service facilities were also great.

Nice practice range open to the public. Hit off the grass, but also enjoyed practice mats with overhead solar panel shade structure with comfy tables and chairs near a snack bar.
