In summary

Pine Needles Golf and Country Club is praised for its beautiful setting, particularly the River course, which offers challenging play and scenic views. The greens are generally well-maintained, and the staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and professionalism. However, some visitors note issues with the fairways being dry or uneven, and there are occasional complaints about the condition of carts and the vending machine setup.

We went on a weekday after work and we were pretty much alone the whole time which was amazing. Many hazard on this place which is cool. This place has 2 differents 18 holes. We choose the river. I will definitely play here again.

Greens are in good shape. Fairways are not flat and very dry with weeds. Tee boxes are also not flat and are hard and patchy. Barely able to push the tees into the ground. It is a tough course and many tee shots require specific yardage and landing spots.

I was thirsty as heck and we thought we could buy water at the ninth hole cause usually the clubhouse would be there.but instead it was the tenth hole.also we found a vending machine the food one was closed we don’t care about that it was the drinks vending machine cause it only uses coins like who would bring coins we’d only be having bills like that’s stupid.second of all the carts where you put your bag the straps are bad my bag fell off three times.i recommend you fix the carts and change drinks vending machines that’s all I’m asking so please. But at least the course was fun I recommend p…

Great golf course the greens are in really nice conditions. Fairways could use a little bit of work but overall good condition. Our cart was very slow compared to others and are not in the best shape.

Worst course I played in my life the greens are insanely slow the tee boxes are horrible and the fairways are brown and they feel horrible. I do not recommend this course I had a bad experience there.

I played at River after heavy rain. The layout and sight scenes was awesome, however it was wet. The lady tee is too long. Thus, the women under 200 driver distance will feel difficulty. The second hole is challenged. Two ball were in the river even I got good contact. If you are under handy 10, this is for you. If you are over 10, you feel some walls.

River course was very beautiful, no mosquitos (A+), 2 holes where you tee off behind water (white). Washrooms were actual toilets rather than portable. Some greens were not repaired quite often, great restorations on a few fairways that needed it, some areas were littered often. Favourite hole was #13.

Two golf course to choose from at this location. I prefer playing the River as the sights are awesome next to the river. The River is a harder course than the Pine. The greens are in excellent condition. The staff is always friendly.

I played both courses this week. Conditions were ideal, lush fairways and true greens. Staff very accommodating. I will definitely return again next season.

Charging $18 per seat/per person for a cart rental is insane!! Flat fee rate would be more appropriate instead of ripping people off. That alone will make me go elsewhere for my yearly membership.

Nice course , great value. Pine course about 5- 6 shots easier. River has lots of water first few holes, need to drive long and straight.
