In summary

Pinewood Country Club is highly praised for its well-maintained and challenging nine-hole golf course, as well as its friendly and attentive staff. The recently remodeled bar and restaurant receive positive feedback for their atmosphere and diverse menu, with particular commendation for dishes like chicken French and fish fry. However, some visitors have experienced slow service and issues with food quality during busy times, suggesting that reservations might be advisable to ensure a smoother dining experience.

Cozy, fun yet challenging. This nine hole course will challenge you yet offers plenty of fun for all range of golfers. The club house adds to the ambiance- in that it has a good assortment of bites to eat as well as refreshments. Fits well I. The neighborhood

Last friday, our waitress was friendly & accommodating. But we waited an hour for food even with a reservation. It was busy, but not crazy busy...& then food finally came out. Cold & stale tasting french fries. Waitress brought out a warmed batch, but that's just it. They seemed re-heated & stale, warm... not hot. Which is too bad as "buffalo" style fish was Really good. Needs really good fries to go with it.

Golf course looks great. Dinner, not so much. Poor food, even poorer service. 20 people working the restaurant and they could not keep up with a normal dinner rush. Disappointing. And my linguine fra diavlo tasted like chef boyardee. Not a good part about tonight's dinner.

I don't normally give reviews, but I felt the need to leave one for this place. Im not going to talk about how nice they keep the golf course, which is beautiful. Im gonna specifically review their Chicken French, which is awesome and I am very picky on this dish. The only reason I gave them a 4 star is because I don't read 5 star views

Waited 15 minutes after getting seated on the patio.. No waitress came to give menus or take a drink order. And had to ask busboy to wipe down the table.

We had the pleasure of having lunch at Pinewood on Wednesday 4/3. The service was excellent, food was delicious and the owner/manager went above and beyond for us. It was raining heavily when we left. He escorted us out a private exit leading us directly to our car to accommodate my parents. He held a huge umbrella over my parents and individually helped them to the car. Wonderful experience! We will be back and I have shared with many of my friends. Sincerely, Karen Rice

We don't play golf but we do have lunch there, and it's been very good. My husband is a tripe lover so that's pretty much what he always orders and I venture around the menu. They have a great burger. Not super busy this time of year at lunch time, but I would consider a reservation on a Friday or Saturday night. I would also like to give a shout out to all the friendly staff. See you soon!

Talk about a hidden gem! I grew up in Spencerport and lived there most of my life and had never heard of this place, probably because I am not a golfer and it is tucked away in a nice quiet area. A friend had recommended it to me as a new spot to try when our previous weekly dinner night out spot had gone out of business. So we gave it a shot and popped in for an early week night dinner and decided to sit at the expansive bar. The bartender Alyssa R greeted us with a nice big smile as we sat down while on her way over to see what she could get for us. We let her know we were also planning to e…
