Such an awesome place to start out as a beginner golfer, all the staff in the pro-shop as well as the Marshalls are super accommodating and friendly, everytime I’ve been paired up with folks they’ve been super kind and a ton of fun to play with. Always a great time.

Loved it! We play only 9 holes at the Captain Hills course. Rented a cart and clubs. The course is nice and the greens not too bad. I am not a good golfer but I like the sport. This course is fine to get to teeing off, the fairways, and approaching the green. Today was a gorgeous day here in St. John's. Recommended!

A nice golf course. Fairly hilly and the terrain is bumpy so carts are recommended. It offers views of St. John's that are spectacular. The greens are well maintained, and the roughs aren't too over deep. There are some water traps that are pleasant to see with ducks, Lilly pads and some fish even.

Really not great courses. 9 is just terrible over all. 18 could be good but with the poor grass management of the Fairways and the mess of grass clippings left all over the place, makes tracking your ball nearly impossible. And the lack of signage and makings directing to the next holes is insane. Very hard to navigate if you aren't familiar with the course. Definitely not worth the $60+ green fees

My granddaughter and her fiance held their wedding here .It is an awesome place for such an event.

Course itself is not great and not well taken care of. Had a previous shoulder injury act up during the course, so we had to stop playing (gave 2 stars because they did refund us). The old man on the front desk said "women can't play golf" to my partner as he was getting the refund. Terrible comment to make - hence the very low review. Save your money, support a better business, play elsewhere.

Excellent service, the staff go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable. The 9 hole is a great little course for a quick round. But if you have the time try the 18, every hole is different and ranges from fairly easy to very challenging. Yes there's many hills but it's not that boring flat course that the fun grows thin after two or three rounds. I would highly recommend, and yes they have senior rates.

This is a beautiful golf course with stunning views of St. John’s. We purchased a 24 play last fall and have often played the course over the past 4 years. We were really pleased to see some attempts to improve the course with new sprinklers and some other capital improvements. However, we will be taking a break from playing this course in the future due to the reluctance to invest in a real course Marshall (hit and miss at best); ensuring pace of play is managed; traps are raked; ball marks repaired; and more. Additional course improvements like fixing the tee boxes are also needed. Given…
