I want to start with a positive: Arrived early for a wedding weekend and asked for an early check in. They were so sweet to accommodate my request and I was very grateful. Upon entering our room, I noticed beds were made but it appeared that was it. There were hairs on toilet, in shower, in bathtub. Carpet had not been vacuumed, thick dust on nightstands and when I looked at the beds, there were hairs on that as well. I requested a housekeeper to re-clean our room. The housekeeper was kind but only used a spray bottle to wipe things down. Hairs were still left on shower walls. I notified the f…

Stayed for a quick weekend getaway! Location was great, rooms and grounds were super nice. Loved the coffee shop on site! Only complaint would be both days we were there, their was a golf scramble so we couldn't golf!

Rancho Bernardo Inn feels like stepping into a living film set—an elegant blend of old-world Spanish charm and Southern California ease. By day, the architecture is warm and timeless, with courtyards, arches, and details that feel carefully preserved rather than staged. It has the atmosphere of a classic resort that knows exactly what it is. At night, the property becomes genuinely magical. Soft lights woven through trees and along walkways transform the grounds into a glowing landscape, creating the sensation of wandering through a beautifully imagined world—almost cinematic, almost surreal.…

Rancho Bernardo Inn is a true hidden gem in San Diego. The hospitality is outstanding, the service is impeccable, and the property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the views are stunning, and parts of the resort genuinely feel like Lake Como. The spa is high-end, the golf course is spectacular, and the restaurants are excellent. This is a complete luxury experience — 100% worth the trip!

Great place to stay and relax or use the golf course. Historic location and well established. Nice place i would return for sure. Pet welcome, we had our tow beagles and it was a great stay.

Stayed a few days over a business meeting weekend. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and so peaceful. I only got two photos of the grounds (shame on me), but the buildings are spread out so you feel separated from others. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend spending a weekend here and getting some quality rest and relaxation.

Hotel overall is beautiful and always clean, nice decor inside the rooms and outside. I always like the pool because the privacy fence around it. The rooms are huge inside, the only downside is the pillows are flat. Not of my liking

We came to the Inn only for a round of golf. It is a beautiful place to come and the golf course is really fun. The caddies were super on top of things and the pro shop was definitely the best stocked pro shop we have come across recently. We came to this course as a JC card member, and the pro shop efficiently set us up with our bonus pack. There are some benefits to joining JC online or through the app, like free balls, etc., In our case, we were coming in and signing up, and would not have received our cards in time to play. We thank the staff at the Inn for doing all that for us. Greens…

When we arrived we were greeted by Ben Garcia and his team members. They were very welcoming. Ben showed us around the Resort. He was very accommodating. Our stay was very comfortable. The resort is beautiful and the food was good! The service we had was great! My only disappointment was we had to leave too soon. We will definitely be back! Thank you again Ben if I could give more stars I sure would!

We stayed here four nights. Service was great. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. Grounds are beautiful. Hotel is older though and needs some maintenance. 18 hole golf course was nice and open but really slow round. It gets pretty packed on course. The restaurants are a plus. One has really nice outdoor seating with Live band that plays for guest at night. Good place to relax and have a drink and some food. There are three pools and spas. The spa at Rancho Bernardo has a real big pool to relax around and to have spa day.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in the north San Diego area. The service is outstanding. We forgot our dogs bed in the room and didn't realize until later that day. The employees went above and beyond to help us get it back. The food service was also outstanding. The hotel is older, but so well maintained. The grounds are beautiful and lush. We will go back again!!

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding. The whole weekend was spectacular but what won me over was the post stay service. My husband left his money clip (with cash) in the room and they returned it with all of the cash. We are so grateful and loyal customers.
