In summary

The Vineyard Golf Club at Escondido is highly praised for its beautifully maintained course, challenging yet enjoyable layout, and welcoming staff, contributing to a consistently positive experience for both new and experienced golfers. The club offers excellent amenities, including a well-equipped driving range and a scenic setting with lush views. While most reviews are positive, some visitors have noted occasional maintenance issues on the fairways and slow pace of play during busy times.

I signed up for a membership a few months ago to practice more. I get a free medium bucket of balls every day so I like to get out there a few times a week. The range area is really nice, I can usually always find a spot open without waiting and they probably have about 20 bays that will track your ball. I also have taken a few lessons with Jey Bacani and he is such a good teacher. I am such a beginner to golf and he started with basics on my first few lessons, then took me out to the last 2 holes today to practice and it was so fun. The staff is really nice too! I definitely recommend this co…

Best greens I have played on to date. Course was such an enjoyment. Love the layout of it. Really appreciate Joshua's service there, he was very helpful and respectful. Got to talk with Jose Gomez, he gave us a layout of the course and made us feel very welcomed. Definitely putting this course in my monthly rotation.

Visited The Vineyard at Escondido and was impressed by the beautiful scenery. It has a challenging character, which makes the round engaging, but the fairway conditions could be better—especially on the back nine, where maintenance felt a bit lacking. We played on a Friday as a long weekend was starting, and the back nine got very backed up. Even though it’s around a 70-par course, it’s not an easy track and demands solid shot-making.

Went there for a birthday party in the hall serving tacos. The taco meat was not very seasoned but the cilantro the pico de gallo. Everything else was really good. The rise of beans kind of carried everything through to a nice meal. Good company great service. Very one golfing was happy, great friendly environment!

The Vineyard at Escondido has become one of those courses I always find myself coming back to. I've played here a handful of times now, and every round has been a great experience. The course is well maintained, challenging but still fun, and offers some really beautiful views throughout the round. The staff has always been welcoming and helpful, which makes a big difference and adds to the overall vibe of the place. Pace of play has been solid, and it's just an enjoyable course whether you're out for a casual round or trying to play seriously. Overall, it's a consistently great experience,…

I recently had the chance to play at Vineyard Golf Course, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The course itself is beautifully maintained, with a nice mix of challenging holes and more relaxed fairways, which made it great for both new and experienced golfers. The atmosphere is really welcoming—lush scenery, peaceful surroundings—and the staff were super friendly, offering great tips and making us feel right at home. Plus, the clubhouse had a nice selection of food and drinks to wind down after the round. Overall, I highly recommend Vineyard Golf Course—it’s a gem! Thanks…

The management and staff have done a lot of improvements. New tee boxes, driving range flags with yardage signs, fairways are like carpet. Greens are maybe the best in San Diego right now. Greens keeper is on point with this one.

A Perfect Venue for a Bridal Shower! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently hosted a bridal shower at the Vineyard at Escondido Golf Course, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience! We rented their club facility, and it was absolutely stunning. The recent renovations have truly elevated the space—it’s elegant, modern, and beautifully designed, creating the perfect ambiance for our celebration. From the beginning, the staff was incredibly professional and attentive. A special shoutout to Samantha, who coordinated our event flawlessly. She was responsive, organized, and went above and beyond t…

Played third week of July, 10am tee time on a Thursday. Course was busy. Overall decent course for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had double booked my tee time with another group but starter got it figured out quickly. Unfortunately the golfers that play here might be less experienced or just don’t care. Every green had multiple divots to fix. On a hole following a tee shot watched another golfer pickup my ball. When approached about it he denied taking it. Course could be in better shape but for the price not sure more could be expected.

My experience at The Vineyard at Escondido was fantastic! I had always wanted to try golfing but really had no idea what to expect. The staff was so welcoming and explained things thoroughly which lowered my anxiousness. Customer service was certainly on par. The general manager Jose was genuinely excited for me making contact with the golf balls on the green especially for a newbie which made me feel like I belong. The grounds are beautiful! We saw turtles in the ponds, the greens were plush, and the views of vineyards and the mountains are breathtaking. The 18 holes are well thought out and…

Huge thank you to the Vineyard Escondido team for hosting our Girls Who Putt event this weekend. Truly one of our favorite events we’ve done. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere was so relaxed and welcoming, and your team made the entire experience feel effortless from start to finish. From helping us set up to making everyone feel comfortable throughout the event, it was clear how much care went into everything. One of the coolest parts of Girls Who Putt is bringing together women of all different golf backgrounds — whether someone is picking up a club for the first time or already pl…
