The course is nice but I would never play here again in the early (7am) morning it was so foggy we couldn’t even see 100 yards out. Because of which we got behind and had to rush through our round. Got a hole behind and the Marshall made us skip a hole but then compensated us with a discount to play the course again so the staff here is friendly and genuinely wants the players to enjoy it. I really enjoyed playing at Dos Osos. It was a very challenging course that was in overall great shape. A lot of hazards and narrow spots to challenge your game but very fun. The tee boxes were in great shape as were the greens. Pace of play was good too and i can only imagine the course conditions improving. Great course to go play golf!

Everyone and everything was very nice about this course. Fun, challenging, the holes are coming along great grass looks great very playable greens are fine they're getting better and better the staff was very hospitable and very helpful with tips for the course my friends and I will definitely be back soon.

Last year when I reviewed this course I referred to it as a cow pasture. Nice to see the improvements JC Golf has made. Greens were in good condition last week when we played and fairways are coming along nicely. Staff was very friendly and we will definitely come back. Nice Job!!

Peace and quiet. Good length course with dog legs that make you hit to second shot, not just driver. Shape of course is improving. Enjoyable.

Played today 11/3/24 and as of this review this course is not ready to be played. I understand it’s a soft opening and admire the work that has been done thus far. 4.5 hour pace of play, tee boxes are in good shape, new sand in the bunkers, fairways are muddy, greens are patchy, small putting/chipping and there is no range. I highly advise anyone reading this review to save your money and go down the street to play the Vineyard at Escondido for the same price. I love my JC Golf Courses but I expected much better conditions especially paying $69 for the round. I recommend coming back in Februar…

Idk why these reviews say it's a nice course must have not played lots of golf. The layout is cool ig. Mang of the greens are barely a green with lots of rough patches and where not even making the ball do wonky things. It was insanely slow with a 5 and half hour round when we played at 12 had to call the club house but it didn't do much. It's better than it used to be but I would never pay 60 for a course like this try and play the other jc clubs if you actually want to play golf many of the ppl seems like they were just there to drink.

Played late Sunday at Dos. It’s really coming back to life! Since JC has taken it over, they’ve done some amazing things with the course. When I played, Rhavi was the only one working the desk as they were short staffed. He worked the counter, food and beverage, as well as helped with the carts. Yet, he took it all in stride and was the coolest guy. Keep it up Dos Osos!

This course is a hidden gem. Really great layout, and JC has made a lot of improvements. Greens are still a little slow, and some fairways are still being worked on, but JC will continue to improve these areas, I think. They have a great back patio with misters that overlook hole 18. Great course!

Very enjoyable round played with 2 buddies, the green were in great condition but the rest of the course gets a little rough, but it's getting there! Also was stuck behind a group or 2 which significantly slowed our game down but besides that great course

Every time I come back, the fairways are getting better. The greens are fully grown in. It has a ways to go, but Dos Osos is very playable.

hi. I'm not sure I can reply to your review so I'm editing my old one. I booked for Saturday around 11 am on 02/14. Im JC 20/30. When I booked online I saw it was $49 and thought it was a good deal.
