In summary

Ridgeview Ranch Golf Club is appreciated for its beautiful layout, challenging holes, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among golfers. The course features scenic elevation changes and well-maintained fairways, although some visitors have noted inconsistent greens and occasional maintenance issues. While the overall experience is positive, there are concerns about slow pace of play and course management during busy times.

Amazing course I played golf for the first time and it was amazing I love golf now. I did the 18 hole and had some great hits and whatnot. They gave me good left handed clubs but they do ask for my ID. Also the tee times are inconsistent as we had to wait for the people in front of us to finish.

Atrocious conditions and charging full price for a 5(at minimum) hour round. The greens are a mix between dirt and overseed(?) Painted green. If you have an imagination it could be considered a green, but it’s not, more akin to ground under repair. Fairways are alright and in the past it has been one of my favorite courses. The super really needs to evaluate the conditions and let things grow out, hopefully conditions improve.

Have been playing this course for years. Usually is pretty damn good for the money. Staff always nice and carts recently upgraded. Right now it’s not worth it. Got charged $70 and the first 10 greens have less than 40% grass. The rest is dirt. It’s unplayable. Hopefully they can get it under control soon but to charge a premium fee for what you get here is criminal.

First time out here for us. We really enjoyed this golf course. Lots of elevation change. Lots of rolling hills. Greens are in great condition. Staff is really nice. Carts are getting a little worn out. Some tee boxes aren’t phenomenal but they are better than average. If you’re use to country club level this isn’t your jam but compared to many public courses this place is 7 out of 10 and has potential to be outstanding. A hidden gem of a layout!

I can’t really get my camera to provide a proper view of what the course is like. But it’s nice right now and a fair experience. I liked it and intend to play many more rounds on the course. Some holes are really tough but the par 3s are doable just make sure you are hitting from the right tees and you will have a great time. Greens are fun for putting and chipping. They aren’t crazy fast or tricky. Just one hole has a crazy green that might drive you mad. It’s the green whose design was inspired by the famous green at St. Andrews. Otherwise you have a chance to score if you can putt straight.…

Sept 2025: New golf carts! Huge improvement! $$ being spent on the course - general clean up & weed eating make the course shine. Good variety of hole design & shotmaking. Greens in great shape No water on course; bev cart is available Great value for seniors Oct 2024. (Up from 3 ⭐️ April review) Played Copper tees (7,025, 74.5, 138) Greens were great shape! Serious improvement from my April review. Primary fairways & tee boxes = just fine. Areas around cart paths need work Area around greens were over watered. Pace of play slow; 4 1/2 hours on Monday Bev cart was a plus Course is a hidden…

Came down from KC to play some golf with a friend. The gentleman working the pro shop was extremely kind and welcoming, (didn't catch his name). After a round, and a few beers, I left my wallet in the cart. It was recovered with all the cash still in it. It is comforting to know most people are still good, especially at Ridgeview Ranch. Beautiful open course. Would definitely play again.

Super close to home so we have been here a handful of times. Great course, well maintained, friendly staff, good food! Neat creek views and beautiful mature trees here too.

Genuinely the worst condition course I’ve ever played. If they are gonna have the course in that kinda shape they should charge half of what they do. Course has so much potential, layout is awesome. No starter or Marshall on a Saturday. A real shame cause this place could be great.

6/2/23: Played a 4pm tee time and we finished in about 4 hours and 15 minutes. Fairways 5/10, bunkers 7/10, greens 2/10, Tee boxes 7/10. First time playing here, but likely won’t come back for some time. Great to practice getting to the green - but that’s it. Forget about working on your putting.

Probably the worst practice facility I’ve ever seen. The mats are torn up and are rock hard. Feels like hitting on directly on concrete. And there isn’t anywhere to use a tee so so you can’t even just hit driver to avoid hurting your wrists on the hard mats.

It is cheap, but you you get what you pay for. No dormant grass on the greens (the ball just doesn't stop) and the ones that are coming back, have poa annua! fairways very dry, bunkers have good sand but they just dumped a truck load and do not keep any consistent depth (I guess slightly better than no sand at all but not by much)
