In summary

Rio Secco Golf Club, now known as Serket, is widely praised for its stunning views, challenging layout, and well-maintained course conditions, offering a blend of playability and challenge with scenic desert terrain and glimpses of the Vegas skyline. The staff and amenities, including a well-stocked pro shop and quality practice facilities, receive high marks for their friendliness and quality. However, some visitors have noted issues with pricing, course conditions, and pace of play, suggesting room for improvement in these areas.

We played this on our last day in Vegas not knowing what to expect. The views are amazing! The holes are very challenging if you don’t play smart. The only issue we had was the 4 inches of rain the night before so it was cart path only. Other than that its a great course to play while in Vegas.

Rio Secco was the fourth course on our trip, and the perfect spot to finally pull out the driver and let it rip. After tighter layouts earlier in the tour, this course felt wide open and freeing—long, scenic, and built for power. The layout is beautiful, weaving through desert terrain with stunning views and even a glimpse of the Vegas skyline in the distance. Every hole offered something unique, and the overall experience was top-tier. Great pace, great conditions, and a perfect blend of playability and challenge. Definitely a highlight of the trip.

Got a chance to play here a few months ago. Out of the other courses we played this was my favorite, lol maybe cause I played my best of that week. All around nice course definitely would play again!

Great customer service from the parking lot and on. The course has great practice facilities and a full size range with complimentary gold balls. The course is challenging but doesn't make you want to rip your hair out. Tee boxes even and cut, fairways striped, bunkers well maintained, and the greens roll pure. This is a great course with elevation challenges and shot shaping holes. They also offer resident rate for active duty military which was definitely appreciated. I recommend this course to all. Will be back.

Pro shop made me—a local with a valid ID—pay nearly double the local rate because the tee time was booked 6 days in advance instead of the required 5, and it was reserved by my out-of-town buddy. That policy feels overly rigid and unfair, especially when you’re standing there ready to play. For $235, the course conditions were disappointing. The greens were extremely firm, almost concrete-like, and covered in sand. Fairways were patchy, the rough was basically nonexistent, and several cart yardages were inaccurate, which made club selection frustrating throughout the round. The overall experie…

This was my first time playing in the USA and what a golf course this is. The staff in the pro shop were very helpful and was absolutely immaculate. I picked up the rental set of club outside the front of the clubhouse by the golf carts and proceeded to an amazing grass and sand driving range. Balls were readily available on the range which conveniently had a halfway house in front of it to grab snacks and drinks. The course was in great condition and was a tough test for a 13 handicapper in myself. I played from the white tees. The greenkeeping staff out on the course were very friendly and…

I’ll first preface this review by saying the course is not, in its current state, worth five stars. But when the fairway bunker renovations are finished, it will undoubtedly be a 5-star course. Everything about Rio Secco is fantastic, well, maybe not everything. The price surge in the valley seems to have hit the maximum here. But I get it. If people continue to pay, they will keep raising the rates. So aside from the current renovations and pricing structure, the golf is outstanding. They have a world-class practice facility, a meticulously manicured course, some of the best views of the Ve…

Played at Serket, formerly known as as Rio Secco. This is a spectacular course and is a high end course, in great condition, checks off everything you want in a golf experience. Great and friendly staff, really good golf carts and amenities. We purchased double down golf fees, which allows you to also play Cascata. Pricey but a good deal rather than paying separate fees for each course. And Cascata is one of the most spectacular courses in the country.

Beautiful golf course! with very nice views especially for anyone that here from the east coast. Very well maintained especially with the Vegas heat that we all know, no real humidity so its not extreme but still hot, greens are in great shape and rolling true, if golfers would fix there ball divots the greens would be perfect! Otherwise its in great shape pace of play was just under 4hrs. Clubhouse is great, staff very friendly, and there selection on swag is great as well. Definitely will play it again when back in town.

We chose Serket for our October 2025 wedding. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception for 100 people. We were very impressed with the value for the price. They also had the sweetest staff the day of (servers, bartenders, etc.). The food was even better than our tasting. Overall, we would definitely recommend them.

Played this course last February, it's a very fun and difficult challenge. For my golf game it was a bit more difficult as it's very much an accuracy type of golf course. Fairways are a premium here and are essential to finding your way around here. The views are great! You can see the strip several times throughout your round and the course was in very good shape. It was a colder day so I had the course to what I felt like was just myself which made it very peaceful and enjoyable. Definitely recommend playing here for a challenge with accuracy. The clubhouse and food here are also top notch…
