Grass was a little tall, but all around, I had a great time with friends. Oh, and alot of trees. Keep the balls straight. 🤣

Horribly neglected. Hitting out of dirt or very little grass in the fairways frequently. Greens are a trainwreck. Basically, find somewhere else or don't expect much out of this place.

The City of Victoria has really done a great job of recovering the golf course after Hurricane Harvey. The course play's well, even if I don't. Improvements are still needed, but overall the course is really great.

May have been a jem at one time. But, as today, not so. My heart goes out to you if this is your only choice. Dry, dry, and dryer. Mostly do to drought conditions in the region. But, there is a total neglect to put water on the course. Greens and fairways are as hard as volcanic rock. The extremely dry conditions makes hitting onto and putting the greens a train reck. You have to hamer tees into the tee box ground. Won't play this place again until the drought is over.

Twice recently I have been refused golf cart rentals on days when no tournaments were being held. As a disabled senior part time golfer, former golf professional, I’ve played at least 150 golf courses won lots of tournaments, and Riverside Park is the only one that has ever refused me cart rental for no other apparent reason than I am a senior walk on and don’t play very often. Members get golf carts no problem. Walk on seniors may not be as fortunate.

Basic old fashioned golf course. Good greens and fairways (on May 1, 2024). Easy to play, walkable, low scores, no lost balls. Warm-up balls for $1, friendly staff, easy cart policy with gps, beer only $3.50. What's not to like! Well, the carts do have zones where they won't go and you have to back out, way more times than necessary, something management needs to rethink. I'll still give 5 stars though.

It's a nice course. Greens were in good shape. Fairways only fair condition, but it's normal. For this time of year. It's a fairly typical Texas municipal golf course.

Recently moved to Victoria and had a chance to play here today. Although I only played the back 9 it was such a great time. I love how the course is designed and to top it off you have hundreds of deer roaming the property. It’s very peaceful getting to play alongside so many beautiful deer within a few feet of you. I highly recommend this golf course for anyone in the area.

My Wife and I spent the day in Victoria just playing Tourist for her birthday. Walked the Hike & Bike trail located next to the golf course. Had a great time and saw a great deal of Nature doing Nature stuff it was truly. Great place to get out of the rat race for a bit.

Course and staff have always been a joy to visit. Up until they employed a very unprofessional young lady. On many occasions she has been very rude to both guests and members alike. We’ve never had an issue until she became part of their staff. If you plan on playing simply stay clear of the young one with glasses.

I have always enjoyed this golf course. I'm bummed that they took away a large portion - some of my favorite holes - from the course to be used as a driving range. I wish (and hope) they would continue to alternate the three 9 hole courses they offer. The far right nine hole course was the best and most unique of its kind.
