In summary

Rock Creek Golf Course is often praised for its beautiful scenery, unique layout, and well-maintained fairways, offering a challenging experience with some unconventional hole designs. The staff is generally considered friendly, and the course is noted for being reasonably priced. However, some visitors have pointed out that the back nine can be confusing and less well-maintained, with older golf carts and uneven paths detracting from the overall experience.

Played back 9 Sunday $44 for 2+cart, beautiful, very hilly, cart is a must. Our first time so for newbies FYI, 11 tee is middle of 10 fairway, 12 tee is across the road, then drive way up the hill (on road), make Left at cart crossing, past 18 green, way down cart path, left at fork to 12 tee, crazy. Beautiful rock walls, very pretty layout. Course was in great shape considering the dry weather. The gas carts make you appreciate electric carts at most other courses. 10/5/2025

Rock creek is a good golf course with some challenging holes. During our visit the back 9 was not open due to some overly wet conditions so we played the front 9 twice. The course was otherwise well kept and we had an enjoyable time here.

I wish I found this course 20 years ago. Absolutely gorgeous. Very challenging and theres not another course that I know of, at least in NEPA, that's literally carved into the side of a mountain. Well maintained and the property is just beautiful. This course will make you play your round in a totally unconventional way, but also help you get better and hit shots you didn't think you could hit. Very reasonably priced as well. Only a half hour drive from Binghamton or Scranton. Go do something outside the box and play here. You'll be happy you did.

I just went here and the course was absolutely beautiful. The best course for the price in the area. Very good price, friendly staff, and the holes are very nice.

For a little 9 holes, (they do have 18), it was a really pretty area 🌞

Fantastic views, great location and it's maintained pretty well. I do have to ding a star due to the back 9. On the front, the cart paths are in great shape and the holes are laid out well. Some blind shots, but that's part of the game. The back nine has the path as either dirt or gravel, and it's a drive to get to 10 to tee off. Not the worst thing in the world, but the hole layouts on the back are just frustrating. 11, for example. There's no path to reach the green from the tee box, almost forcing you to pitch from the tee to the fairway to have a shot path to the pin. I'll definitely be…

Excellent place to golf. Not too crowded, beautiful views and fair price. I would definitely recommend Rock Creek.

I was really disappointed with my experience at this course. The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming from the start. The golf carts were old, poorly maintained, and some barely made it up the unkept, uneven cart paths. Several holes felt unplanned, with narrow fairways and a layout that just didn’t make much sense. Overall, the course seemed neglected and not worth the price. I won’t be returning.
